Oh boy, that was heartrending. Beautiful but heartrending. I need a tissue. Hell I need a whole box of tissues. I don't know what else to say, beautiful but heartrending.

Author's Response: Totally missed your review until now, sorry. I'm so glad you liked the story - though I didn't want to make you cry...I just needed to cope. About a fictional character, how sad is that? *sigh* But it's Dean :) Thanks a lot for the review.

Oh wow, that was amazing.  Really enjoyed it... ok, not sure 'enjoyed' is exactly the right word, as it was so sad.  But it was very well written and you captured the boys perfectly.

Really good work, thanks for sharing.

Author's Response: I think I know what you mean by "enjoyed". Thanks so much, I'm glad you liked the story.

beautifully written and expertly thought out.

I loved when Dean tossled Sam's hair...

You ended it perfectly but I still didn't want it to end! Any chance of sequel????*begging shamelessly*

Author's Response: Lol, thanks. I can actually relate to the feeling of not wanting it to end like that, but I haven't planned on writing a sequel for this one. Maybe my story "Whatever you do, don't let go" can be seen as a sequel of sorts since it starts directly where season 3 left off - and now I stop the shameless self-advertisement ;-) Thanks for the review.

Painfully gripping.   This definitely could have been an alternate season finale.

Author's Response: Thanks. I don't know about the alternate season finale (there really wasn't much action in the story), but back when I wrote it I thought that however Dean's gotta go, he wants to go with his head held high. That's where this story came from. Glad you liked it, thanks so much.

Wow!  Really well done! I loved how you pointed out that Sam is stronger than Dean. So sad for them!  I loved it!  Beautiful!

Author's Response: I think at least in Dean's eyes he is. Thanks a lot for the review, I'm glad you liked it.

WOW. this was fantastic. practically needed a whole box of kleenex to mop up the river of tears you generated.

this portion was particularly moving:

Dean's faith wasn't strong enough to still believe in miracles. Sam had too much faith to face reality. The differences of their whole lives in a nutshell.

I really loved your writing through this, the emotions were on overload, but it was fantastic!!

Author's Response: Thanks. I tend to get on emotional overload in inner monologue, but I guess with such a topic and as long as they don't talk too sappy, it's okay ;) I'm glad you liked it, thanks a lot for the review. Though I really didn't want to make anybody cry...
