It's hell, reading about Dean in, er, Hell.. LOL is there any salvation in sight, or is this mainly a visual of Dean in Hell?? like all the tortures he's suffered but in the end he'll still be there, bruised in body but not broken in spirit??

"Dean, I'm an angel." Ecstasy overflowed, warming him up on the inside simply from the love he felt for this child. His lips turned up in a contented grin as he gazed upon the boy. An angel... my angel. Love this part of the story...when Dean thinks about Sam and their growing up years it feels so sweet.....hopefully his thoughts and faith of Sam would help him tide the Hell....

Very well done. Forgive me my eloquence has left me. (It's still a tad too early in the day for me). A boy no more than eight was running along the shore of a vast ocean. His bare feet skipping along kicking up sand while his hands waved through the air in wild, bold patterns like an eccentric, long-haired orchestral conductor as the music built in a crescendo to the big finale of the last act. That imagery was wonderful, beautiful and poignant.

"Sammy... " His eyes flew open and real tears rolled down his cheeks. Sammy... Sammy? He tried to hold on to the image but the thought floated away. Always, always, the thought of Sam would give him something to anchor on, and it's great...but at the same time to make him relive the whole assault repeatedly sound very very cruel..... Is his torture like a cycle that will be doomed to repeat itself until they finally succeeded in breaking his mind?? i think that if Dean can hold on to that one thought that Sam is coming that it might just save his sanity....
Author's Response: Yeah, I think the torture will be an endless cycle of pain and being left alone, with the constant uncertainty a part of the master plan to undo him. I do think that Sam's love will be the only thing that has any hope of saving Dean. He will hold on to that as long as he can.
