Well this is one of the best stories on SN I have read! I found it on Friday and am just about to start Ch8 - feeling drained! Starting off with smaller chapters was a stroke of brilliance as I often find it hard to get thrown in right at the start with longer emotional ones. Brilliant & I realise these chaps take a lot out of you but I hope by the time I get to Ch14 you have posted more! Thanks for a wonderfully written story.

I do think the smaller chapters seemed to work because I too think the subject matter is very overwhelming and as you said even the short chapters are draining. Brilliant update, well worth the wait. It,s lovely that Bobby's always there for Dean and Sam. The part of the chapter where you said about Dean's watch stopping sent a chill over me brought me out in goosebumps.
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm really glad you mentioned Dean's watch stopping, that was a last minute addition. One of the reasons I like to live with a chapter for a while before I post it, just making sure that I've got everything that I wanted to cover in and that it is the best I can do. Hi, Your updates are always worth the wait so don't ever worry, I get a twinge of anticipation when I see this on the 'just added'. Glad that Bobby is there for him, Bobby is for Dean what Dean himself is for Sam, his rock. Poor Sam, so desperate to help but yet not able to in the way he would like.. for now. Hi BJ What a wonderful story, I mean really wow! I absolutely love this, I can't really express in words how it makes me feel. Feels as though you are in Dean, you describe how he is feeling that well. You want to get to the end to know everything will be alright but you also want to savour every bit of what is a really intricate story too! I really, really love this story. Major favourite! Mary x

BJ I love your stories. This story is great as poor Dean swaps his white room in hell for another in a different kind of hell. I love the way you write, so descriptive but without taking away the reader's chance to use their own imagination. Looking forward to the next update! Mary x

Firstly, finally!!! we get to see Bobby and Sam's part of the story! it's great, and heartbreaking at the same time. i can't decide which, especially when it's revealed that the ritual doesn't work and Dean is still trapped in Hell. dammit. maybe he's deposited somewhere else??? And last chapter's one is also kinda a huge surprise. i didn't figure 'little Dean' to make an appearance and try to talk to 'big Dean'. but it's good as well, for Dean to get an insight on himself...from himself..

Really takes me back to DALDOM and Dean being his own worst enemy and all that. Finally!!! Trust Dean being the only thing that could get Dean fighting back. Gone and got back that good old winchester spark didn't he.
Author's Response: Yes, he did. He is his own worst enemy, but also the one who knows him best. I've wanted to have those two face off for forever and finally found the perfect place for it. I loved showing how the child Dean resented that he was neglected even by himself. Sam and Dad took all the attention and poor child Dean was left behind. Dean is a fighter. Author's Response: I loved Dean's connection with Lisa and Ben. His longing for something other than the hunt, for a real life with a child of his own. Yes, very bittersweet, him reaching out to the comfort but then having to send it away. Sammy is forever locked in his mind, more clear at times and then lost temporaritly at others. Author's Response: Yep! I loved George, much like Dean, accepting his fate and not wanting to fight. Making his bed and willingly lying down in it. Luckily Sam got thru to Dean and he did turn around and declare he wanted to live, didn't want to go to Hell.
