very, very, very nice. Gonna need moments like that now that Dean's in hell... is it september yet?..
Author's Response: Thanks, fredo, Yeah, I needed the brothers to have some quiet, bonding time before the deal came due. Now that Dean's in Hell.... I think I'm gonna need some more. It is going to be a long hot summer, thank goodness for the fanfics. Take care, B.J.

I always enjoy reading your Winchester tales, and sometimes they take off on a slightly wow! tangent. You usually manage to offer something special, and this is no less. It is beautifully written, and poignantly painted. You had me in tears. The piece was so emotionally charged, and I believe it stayed true to the boys. Definitely a keeper!
Author's Response: Wow! Thanks, Nilah, I can't ask for a nicer review than that. I know my stories tend to be emotionally charged, I do like to let the boys have more "moments" than the show allows, but I do try to keep them real. So hearing that they still stay true to the boys means the world to me. Thanks. Take care, B.J.

This is an absolutely stunning mix of turbulent emotion and peace, and I sit here in awe. The emotion you allowed the boys to share, to witness in each other was no holds barred. It was honest, raw, soul wrenching. You showed a depth to our boys that was their hearts wide open because their relationship and the horrendous situation that have fought so hard against allows it. I was moved beyond words. The emotions you described in Sam as he woke up was word crafting at its very best, like nothing I've read before. I felt every physical and emotional pain and panic with Sam. The impact of your scene stole my breath. Your description was phenomenal. Dean choosing this place is the epitomy of their unique and special bond, it was perfect. The analogy you created of good and evil existing side by side in the world through Dean's eyes as he viewed the landscape and how Sam absolutley got it, got what it meant to his brother had me in tears. Such an emotional read. Sensational writing. We are all on edge with the deal approaching, and this fic is exactly what we need because we understand and feel it too. Thanks for posting, congrats on an awesome piece of work. It was beautiful.
Author's Response: I am speechless. That was such a well-written, intense review. I so wanted the brothers to finally break down their walls this season and really let their emotions be felt. With Dean facing death and all the other trials in their lives, there would be no better time for them to finally let go and really talk and cry together. I am a bit disappointed that being a TV show with limited time and certain constraints on them that Kripke didn't see fit to let them truly let go. Unfortunately so many fans still want them to be the strong, silent heroes, which under their circumstances is what is truly unbelieveable. I hope we get something Thursday night, but for me, this is what I was hoping for all season. And thank you for totally "getting" everything I was trying to cram into this story. Take care, B.J.

Spent most of the time reading this, crying my eyes out. Beautiful, breathtaking sorrow portrayed here. Nice work.
Author's Response: Oh, thank you. These boys just break our hearts, don't they? This weeks eppy will surely bring the tears. Thanks for reading and reviewing. Later, B.J.

this was beautiful, sad, painful, and devastating!!!!!!! Your description and visual verbage only added to the feeling of the story.OUTSTANDING!!!!!!! Tears and sharp intakes of breath are a part of this too.AWESOME job!!!! We cannot have one brother without the other- they can only be alive and together.this is all we need. You did a beautiful job-thanks for sharingb this piece. BRAVO!!!!!
Author's Response: Thank you soooo much! Yeah, I always strive to pack a lot of emotion into my stories and lots of different reactions. With these Winchesters and their fractured lives, it just seems to come. It is great to hear that I succeeded in my efforts. Yes, we most certainly need the brothers together as much as they do. The finale will bring out all the emotions I'm sure. I can't wait to see what Kripke and company have in store for us. Take care and thanks again, B.J.

Author's Response: Wow, thanks so much! A writer can't possibly get a better compliment than that. Sunrises have always amazed me, such a brilliant way to start the day and offer new hope. Take care, B.J.

Y'know every now and again I read something that makes me wish I'd written it...that gets me so wrapped up in the descriptions and dialogue that I'm right there with the boys, and this is both those things. Visually stunning and beautifully emotional, not only am I sure I will be reading it again, but I may even be tempted to seek out that tour myself next time I'm over...lol Great work B.J. The kind of excellent quality I've come to expect from you. XX Louy
Author's Response: Ah, Louy, thanks again! Definitely seek out Southern Utah if you ever get the chance. Bryce is my own personal slice of heaven here on earth. I fell in love the first time I went there and have been back more than a dozen times. Simply amazing! Your review is possibly the most lovely review I have ever received, Thank you! Take care, B.J.

The place sounds lovely! i wish i was near enough to go there....but i think your brilliant description of it is very useful in helping me visualise the whole valley...i also love the chick-flick moment between the boys, and during sunrise, no less! i would think that Dean would want to go somewhere peaceful during his last days...although i hope that there is a way to get out of the deal!!
Author's Response: It is very lovely and quite peaceful. If I knew my final days were upon me I would want to seek out a place like this to spend time with my loved ones. I also remember quite well when my dad died the one thing that struck me was how glorious the sunrise was and the simple fact that life goes on and we always have our memories. Yeah, we know Dean will survive, but how? The finale is going to be an emotional rollercoaster I'm sure! Thanks for reading and reviewing. Take care, B.J.

that's some powerful writing you've got going on. i love the sunrise scene (i see it as a metaphor for hope) and dean, poor brave dean! sniff. you got me all teary eyed, which i'm sure is just a precursor to this week's season finale. eeeek! --cricket
Author's Response: Thanks, cricket, much appreciated. Yeah, I think Dean and Sammy will have us all crying by the end of the finale. Maybe some don't see it in the Supernatural universe, but I do see hope for our boys. They certainly deserve a little hope. Take care, B.J.
