HOTH was a great episode.  This is a beautiful compliment to it.

Author's Response: Thanks again!  I love when they examine the religious aspects and I love when an episode inspires more thoughts which this one certainly did.  So glad you enjoyed it.  Later, B.J.

Thank you for taking one of my favorite scenes from HOTH and expanding on it.  It's one of my favorite episodes and that scene, where Sam admits that he prays and Dean is so taken aback, chokes me up.

You did a wonderful job here.

Author's Response:

Thank you, Vanessa.  Especially for reviewing on one of my older stories.  Yes, I loved that revelation and simply needed to explore it more.

It again illuminates the different views of the brothers.  Dean was so hurt by Mom's death and the thought that angels didn't protect her and that is reflected in his anger at God.  Sam is feeling such a need for redemption for factors that he has no control over so it is only natural that he seeks out a higher power.

How very complicated these Winchesters and their stories are.  Take care, B.J.

Awesome tag- BJ- I like the implication that if Dean is good and Sam is bad- they might someday end up on opposite sides- I think that's kinda the crux of what Dean fears anyway! Great job!

Author's Response: Thanks, that would be the ultimate pain for Dean. But man, doesn't that guy have enough to deal with? Later, B.J.

That was very special. I'm with Dean - I refuse to believe that Sam will be evil.

Beautifully written. Thank you very much.

Author's Response: The Demon does not stand a chance of getting Sam as long as Dean is alive. He will not let his brother go down that long, evil road. Thanks, B.J.

This is very nice.  Makes me think, yet again, how sad it is Dean doesn't see in himself what the rest of the world sees.

Laura

Author's Response: How true. One more tragedy for Dean, on top of that four year old boy dealing with Mom's death and his family's turmoil. If only he could see how special and strong he truly is. Thanks, B.J.
