Hi, story is good so far, interesting plot :) only suggestion for improvement would be to watch how often you change between tenses and not to abbreviate through to thru lol, other than that it's really cool looking forward to seeing where this story goes...

'Sam never felt the hand that reached over to guide his head out of the awkward position he'd slumped into. He never saw the tears that slipped down his brother's face.' I KNEW IT!!!! I knew it had to be something influencing Dean! He loves his brother too much to do that to him just out of anger and grief. So glad they worked together to defeat Chelsea - or whatever she was. But oh, the aftermath - and Sam's fear first making him sick then sending him into a panic attack. What is wrong with Dean? Good thing they're headed for Bobby's place - but why is Dean leaving? He needs to stay and work things out with Sam, and fight whatever this is. Heartwrenching final words there - The youngest son of John and Mary Winchester did not break. He shattered. How true. This had to be the final straw that pushed Sam over the edge. They need to talk, and Bobby needs to get to the bottom of what's happening between the brothers before it's too late. Hope you can update soon. I can't wait to see where this is going. Jules

So Chelsea just confirmed it - Sam and Dean somehow created the town and everyone in it. Doesn't explain why they only want Sam to leave - unless it has something to do with his psychic abilities. And the fact that he dismantled that barrier long enough to get through. Perhaps he has the power to dismantle the town, too? So they must be feeding off Dean in some way to keep their own existence going. And what happened to Bobby? I can't believe that Sam dreamed the whole thing - Bobby had to have been there. Did they send him back home or something worse...? Jules
Author's Response: thank you for all of your reviews. i realized that there were a few plot holes in the last few chapters. like chelsea and the towns people were feeding off Dean's rage and had to keep him in order to maintain the town and the people and that they felt for Sam so they didn't need him. i never quite explained that very well. i actually wasn't going to continue but maybe i will now. once again thanks for the reviews. leah

Formatting is a cow - I struggled with it at first, too. Took me awhile and a few handy hints from the admins to get it right. Poor Sam - my heart aches for him and how he's been hurt. And now he's nervous of Bobby too. How much more can he take before, as Bobby suspects, he breaks completely? Forgot to mention before - those time gaps Sam is experiencing are a bit worrying. And he and Dean made the town appear?? I'm definitely intrigued. Is their bond or their grief somehow feeding the entity and making it stronger? And is that why they wanted to keep Dean and not Sam? Or does Sam hold the key to defeating them - or it? Jules

Yep, Bobby agrees with me - that can't be Dean. Poor Sam is almost at the end of his rope. Glad he called Bobby, though, for backup. If anyone can help, it's him. Glad, though, that Bobby saw one of Sam's nightmares and put two and two together - at least now he's got a better idea of what he's up against. There must be a way to get through that barrier - hopefully the entity that's keeping it in place might tire, and let its guard down long enough for the hunters to get inside and rescue Dean. Jules

Why have the creepy townsfolk latched onto Dean? And what is that thing that's trying to electrocute him? Is it something the townspeople have unleashed, or something they try to keep appeased? Ugh, too many questions. Thank heavens Sam's still fighting for his brother - and I just knew that Dean was being influenced by something. Whether it was the thing in the town or something else that the town entity has sensed already within him, I'm not sure. But I knew that couldn't be the real Dean. And now Sam's been hurt again and kicked out of town, locked out by a supernatural barrier. Wonder who he's calling for help. Hope it's Bobby. I love Bobby. Jules

There has to be something wrong with Dean - something much worse than just his grief over their dad's death causing him to act this way. For him to lay into Sam that way - there must be a supernatural force at work. Dean would give (and has given) his life for Sam - this isn't Dean. Really intrigued as to what you have planned for this story. Heartbreaking how Sam is so afraid of the brother who has now turned inexplicably violent and cruel. Jules

That was ominous - the town isn't what it seems. So is Chelsea giving him a warning, or a clever bit of misdirection? So sad that Sam is feeling helpless and lost - and scared, it seems - around his brother because of Dean's inability to deal. I actually read this a while ago, but I was in one of my hit-and-run phases and didn't leave a review. It was great to see that you had finally updated, so I'm going back to re-read the whole story again just to put my mind back in the picture. Intriguing that Dean has resorted to violence - I'll be very interested to see where you take this, because I firmly believe that for every time Dean's hit Sam on the show, he's beat himself up worse. And the fact that Sam's feeling such strong emotions doesn't seem to bode well for what is going on. Is the girl part of it, or is she feeling the same things as Sam is detecting? Jules
