A beautiful ending! What a lovely way to pay tribute to the women in their lives! And although Caleb is feeling torn at the moment, I'm sure he has fond memories of his mother and will be glad Pastor Jim chose to honor her in such a manner. It also was a brilliant way for Jim to show the boys exactly how precious they are to him.

this was a beautiful story.
Plus, the added feature of Caleb hitting that idiot father at the school. OUTSTANDING!!!!
Jim's efforts to teach the boys a lesson without beating them over the head was great.
Sam's simplistic , yet spot on comments just added to an already perfect story.

Okay first thing, as a mother who has read every one of your mother's day stories I have to say thanks. I get your choice to stop, but know that I always love them and look forward to them.
That being said, I gotta tell you, though I know it's not gonna help the Winchester boys situation I love the fact that Caleb jumped into the fray...lol. Great story and I look forward to the next chappy.

I don't know about being fed up with the 'Mothers Day' scenario, I liked it, and would love to know how much trouble Caleb caused in the next scene and whether the 'Winchesters' were all expelled as a result, and what John and Pastor Jim would say to that!

Little Sammy takes a leaf out of big Brothers book eh... well it kind of looks like Dean borrowed the book from "Uncle" Caleb anyway!Wonderful insight into the early years - love that Caleb is pulled in as the responsible adult when Dean is almost his carbon copy and he has to fight to channel his inner Pastor Jim!
Great start - can't wait to see if the real Pastor Jim will have to step in ... or if Principal Reynolds will have to break that paddle out of retirement after all?!!!!

I love Caleb trying to be the adult here. AWESOME writing!!!!
Levi really needed to shut his mouth- I can't wait to "see" what Caleb did to him.
