Awwwwwww... I love Bobby, and he never gets enough page-time, LOL This was absolutely fab, nicely done! I got the feeling he made sure he never cracked in front of The Boys, even AHBL 1+2. Superb. Ta for sharing.

This was a wonderful insight into the POV of such a great enigma... and his hat gets a mention too! Seriously though - I love the character of Bobby, he really did shine in AHBL2 and Mr Bever did such justice to the role. Your story takes it a step further and gives us an image of what Bobby may have gone through when one brother was lost and the other too far gone. The way he remains there for Dean, holding it all and instinctively knowing when to help and when to back off, is a really powerful picture of the depth of feeling he has for these boys - and your superb writing gives us all that and more. Loved your ending were Bobby realises this is probably the end for both brothers as "he knows in his heart that losing one means losing both". Great job - deserving of it's feature.

Awh Hunny. We all know that Bobby is a good man and a good surrogate father to both boys and you have captured that here. OMG! The ending of AHBL Part 1 and beginning of AHBL Part 2 just tear me up inside. It doesn't ever seem to matter that we've come so far beyond it, I still get absolutely choked up watching it or reading about it. It was wonderful to see it all from Bobby's perspective.

God Grief, you have just shot us back to that moment like we've only just finished watching. I feel the shock like its the first time. Like I have said since, Will we ever get over it?! Your words "The sound is gut-wrenching, full of despair and denial" are perfect in describing exactly what we heard. And "Bobby never thought that Dean was capable of sounding like that" just broke my heart all over again. Awesome work! Seeing and feeling through Bobby's eyes was an emotional experience. This very well written ficlet is very worthy of the featured status, Congratulations!
