Author's Response: Thank you, Kelly. At least he went in his sleep, and I am so grateful for that, especially after seeing my uncle suffer three years ago when he died of cancer. I'm glad Pop was spared that. As for the bear - well, he's just hungry....hmm, and there are two injured Winchesters out there....

(Aussie joke aimed at Channel 10's Seriously ad campaign - but all is forgiven as they are bringing back Supernatural on June 8th! for the last four eps of season 3) And yes, both Dean and Bobby are busy second-guessing their actions. I finally caught up with this one and wow, what a roller coaster! Our poor boys are having even worse luck than usual, I think I cringed all the way through.. I hated that ER doctor for even suggesting Dean would hurt Sam - what a moron *grr* But then the crash, and now the bear - it just gets worse! I did smile once or twice, mainly at Bobby's typical lines, and I'm really on the edge of my seat now.. I have total faith in you of course, so I just know Sam WILL be found but I really hope poor Dean doesn't believe he's dead for too long. Look forward to more soon, hon *big hug*

Author's Response: Thank you. I'm sort of at the point now where I can recognise the blessing. I'll always miss my Pop - he was such a big part of my life. But I have lots of fond memories because of the time I had with him. Bobby is going to kick himself six ways from Sunday when he finds out - hopefully he will find out before that bear decides Sam looks tastier than his plaster cast....

Hmmm, I thought for sure Bobby would find Sam first. Shows ya what I know... LOL Both boys being hurt and struggling to find each other is heartwrenching but riveting. And that ENDING!!!! Bobby thinking that Sam's been killed by the bear?!?! Totally did not see that coming. Wow--once Dean becomes aware of what Bobby thinks happened, he is going to be devastated. EVER. it's a bit nerve-wracking when they got into the accident, but the thing that really pisses me off is the doc when he hinted that Dean might have abused Sam! i was like, WTH? anyway, hopefully Bobby would be able to find both boys.. I'm sure everyone else will agree that we will wait as long as you need for updates no story is more important than being there for your family right now. This chapter had me at the edge of my seat again! Poor Sam and Dean! Dean heading the wrong way...definitely not good...I just want to nurse him back to health...I am so a hurt Dean lover...does that make me a bad person? I just love to see him hurt...it makes me want to rush over and take care of him...*sigh* lol yes I am crazy! So glad that Bobby has tracked the boys down! Author's Response: Thank you, sweetie. It was hard losing him, as he'd been such a big part of my life. For me, it truly was like losing a parent. Ah, better watch that edge of seat stuff - you might fall off! And no, you're not a bad person - that would be physically impossible. Plenty of hurt Dean - and even fevered Dean coming soon.
