Awwww. They should have told Dean the night before that Sam was still alive. Why did they let him believe he was talking to Sam's spirit???? Great writing, sucked me right in!

Still won't let me copy and paste, but really loved these two parts:
"Kiss your brother goodnight Dean" "Good night Sammy......"
and
Dean became aware of two things at once....that some bastard had salted and burned his brother, and that the man responsible was coming within range of his hands.
Great writing, I really felt those moments.

Great job on this piece! I devoured it as you posted it, and just took a few minutes to peek through it again, cringing at the misguided assumptions I made the first time. The piece itself is a little mind game, a psychological puzzle. Very intelligently written. I hope you write more like it!

That was an amazing story - you had me on the edge of my seat (actually, it was the edge of my bed as I read it in bed!). I could feel Dean's distress and when they were telling Dean what had happened I could actually see and hear Sam talking and Dean replying.

What a wonderful story! You had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. The action was right on and the emotions between the brothers was so real and poignant. So I applaud an incredible job well done!

Awww....yeah, I am so happy that Sam is alive and he stopped Dean in time. I love the plan they came up with and I do hate that they had to keep Dean in the dark about it. But at least they came through it. I know it may take Dean some time to get over that, but I know he will.
