You are always right on the money with the relationship between Dean and Sam.

I love the interaction, gestures , banter, physical closeness that truly shows what being brothers means to the Winchesters OUTSTANDING writing!!!

John is still a Jackass - he may have rented an apartment to keep them close to the hospital, but he's still running at the wrong times.

As always , Dean steps up to the plate to help his brother, his child-AWESOME job!!!!

You are a master writer and, you never disappoint your readers-visually perfect verbage puts us right there with the boys on all levels.EXCELLENT!!!!!!!

I'm glad Sammy's starting to heal.

More please.

BRAVO!!!!!

It is indeed some fight for Sam to get back his ability to speek, good description how exhausting and painful this is for the patient. It was clear from the beginning so, that Dean is by his little brothers side all the way, never would leave Sam, one without the other not imaginable; still al long way to go for all of them.

Liked the way you described John a lot, his struggle to do the right thing was convincing and after all he loves his boys dearly and for sure Sam needs his dad now.

I'm so glad Sam is recovering.  Where's that sweet little Ethel he took out?  why hasn't she visited him?

I'm glad JOhn is stepping up to be the dad.

It's kind of creepy that Sam's laughing without knowing why, but I guess it's due to good drugs and his family getting along.

I'm furious at John, but I love Sam and Dean all the more for the loving relationship they have.  big brother Dean to the rescue!

It's so cute that whenever Sam gets hurt, he reverts back to five year old Sammy to his brother and dad.   and when John said, "It's okay Sammy.  Daddy's here" I just melted.

keep the good writing.  it's always a treat to see John accept how Dean takes care of Sammy and tries to be more.

Talking to Sam is one job that Dean can do standing on his head.  comforting his little brother is one job that he is a natural at!

I love the story so far.  Eager to keep reading so I'm moving on.

Awww!  That lone tear is a heartbreaker!

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 10/05/08 11:22 AM · On: Chapter 3

Yay!  They have Sam!  Sam should be so pleased that both his brother and his father came to his rescue.

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 10/05/08 11:10 AM · On: Chapter 2

I like how you tell Sam's part through a stream of consciousness.  I'm glad John's involved now, too.

Great beginning!  I wonder if Ethel is in the Impala?  She and Sam could share body heat.  No, that's not the Winchester luck.  Besides, if he's puking I don't know how close Ethel would want to get.

Great chapter! So Sam has Aphasia, I studied linguistics and know about this a bit, very scaring for the patients; John can't really deal with this I think but Dean can and as always is there for his little brother and that makes all the difference!

Much as I said a couple of chapters ago, I loved the way you were writing John as loving and caring, I also think you've got him spot on, unable to completely switch off from the hunt and unable to cope/comprehend his child suffering a severe injury that can't just be fixed with 'a bandaid'.

Dean on the other hand is just the perfect brother. Offering comfort to Sam in every way possible. Wonderful.

Keep the chapters coming, I love it.
