Such a cute and clever gal, you are.
Now I totally knew the L-word was not love....but didn't expect the word you chose.
Good one, so Dean! LOL...You rock!
I adore...I mean really adore Dean in anger mode...he is full of fierceness.
Simply a wonderful read!
I love living in your world. Thank you again, Ziggy for sending me here!
LOL - I caught a few people with that one. And yep, not love - lost!
Thanks so much, Karen. I love Dean in anger mode, too - that wonderful big brother fierceness. It's what made me fall in love with him in the first place, way back in the Pilot.
So glad you enjoyed this - thanks again for your wonderful reviews.

I just love icecube Sammy!
Good pick on my part.
Too bad I have to hit the hay...I so want to read chapter two now...but can't keep my eyes open.
Drat! Dog-gone and SOB!
Will catch you tomorrow, friend.
Thank u, always a joy to read you!
So glad you love Icecube!Sammy - lol.
Aww, never mind, the story will still be here in the morning. More popsicle Sammy and very worried big brother - and the reveal on just what L-word Sam is trying to get Dean to say...
Catch you tomorrow, my friend.

Another good one, Jules! The title pulled me in for this one but when I started reading it I thought, "No way is Sam trying to get him to say love." The only other word I could come up with was lost. How funny that it was losing pool to a girl!
I love the part in the first chapter where Sam is in the cold room and Dean says he'll get him out and both boys have their hands pressed flat against the glass. Lovely moment.
Your description of Sam in the hospital bed was very vivid. I could imagine him laying there with all those tubes and how scared Dean must have been.
"A calloused hand brushed gently across Sam's forehead, sweeping his bangs away from his eyes. No, Sam decided, Dean never did have to say the other ‘L' word. He lived it, instead." I love this. It's so true. I always say actions speak louder than words. You can tell someone you love them all day long but if you don't show it, it means nothing. Sam knows Dean loves him without Dean ever having to say a word.
You are motoring through the back catalogue!
I loved writing this one, actually, because it was fun building up to that moment when Dean admitted his particular "L" word. And you were right - it was "lost".
Sam in the hospital was the result of some pretty detailed help. And since she gave me so much meat to play with, I just had to include it all, right down to the last tube.
And I agree - they didn't need to say the other L-word....but I'm wondering since it's come out twice in season 5 so far, whether they actually do need to say it now, after everything that's happened.
Thanks, Sonya - I'm really pleased you got a kick out of this one.

So cute story. I mean, the L word... Dean loves his baby brother so much. This story made me cry and smile both. Truly awesome story and honestly I'm literally obsessed by your writing. You're amazing.
Author's Response: Thank you, Ritu. And I'm so sorry it's taken me so long to get back here and reply. I'm stoked that you got so much out of the story. And yes, Dean really does love his brother like Sam was his own child.

Aha! Fooled you again! I love it when my evil plans come together. Hope you enjoyed my little bit of misdirection.

I seriously loved it. OOOOPPPPSSS I'VE JUST SAID AND STATED THE LLLLLLLLLLLL WORD. DIDN'T JOHN LENNON SAY THE SAME THING AND EVEN TITLED IT "ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE ".
Thanks again . . . you should know by now what my rating is. So, here it goes . . . . .
Rating:_) ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE of 400+++++
Don't push it, I usually don't give writers as profesionals like you that high of a mark, but all i got to do is LOVE you for this piece of writing that has been supporrted by other writers and readers.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for that. But really, I'm not a professional writer - I'm just a bookkeeper who dabbles in this as a hobby. I've never had anything published, and am not likely to in the near future. But thank you for the super high mark. I'm glad you enjoyed the story, and the little twist on the "L" word at the end.....Jules

This is a story that is trully freacking me out.
I worked in a reteraunt at Knotts Berry Farm for about four to five years till my accedent.
In the resteraunt there was a cooler like tha ta meat cooler, and there is a way to shut the coold off.
Anyway, its scaring the hell out of me and that is a good sign that you will be my fravorit writer.
Author's Response: I know it would freak me out, too. I used to work in a major grocery shop, and one of my tasks was to help fill the ice cream fridge, which meant going out into the huge deep freeze storage unit and getting the boxes to restock. It was rather creepy going out there. The juice fridge was worse, though - it was smaller, not as cold, but much more claustrophobic......Jules

Hahahahaha....the L word is so misleading! LOL although i had an inkling that it's not the normal L word, but it's so funny! You are in Australia right? how far are you along in the series on TV?
It was, wasn't it? That's my love of Agatha Christie coming out again - I love mysteries. Glad you loved it.
I am in Australia - and we have seen up to Jus In Bello. Unfortunately Channel 10 hasn't seen fit to inform the loyal SN fans when the boys are returning, so we might be in for a few rough weeks of withdrawal symptoms. Am growing my nails in preparation for the chewing of...

I was not expecting that "L" word! How funny! Good job! This story made me giggle near the end. Not when Sammy was freezing to death, but near the end.Funny! =-b
Author's Response: Ahh, got you too! Glad it made you laugh. Poor Dean - beaten by a girl - no wonder he didn't want to say it. Thanks for the review.

So sorry I forgot to review the first chapter, I totally thought I had. Really nice story and I like the way you had Dean saying something completely different to what everyone would have thought - athough no less humiliating! LOL! Really liked this bit the most, as it was so true:
No, Sam decided, Dean never did have to say the other ‘L' word. He lived it, instead.
That really is the essence of SN for me, for both of them. They say it with every little thing they do for each other.
Great job :)
Author's Response: Ahh, that's all right - I don't mind you lurking, hon. And they do, don't they? Those boys - they say so much with their actions. Glad you liked it.

this was really great!!!
I was thinking of the wrong L word- especially since Dean has such an aversion to emo moments.
Everything was perfect-timing -tenor-visually creative verbage-in 2 chapters , you so nailed the boys and their crazy lives.AWESOME!!
You are the consumate writer and storyteller!!!!!!!!
Author's Response: Aha! I got you too! *does a happy dance*... Wow - not sure what to say after that review - thank you sounds lame... But thank you, seriously. I'm really chuffed that you enjoyed it so much.

ahhahahahaa wow this whole time i was thinking the L word was "love" LOL sooo glad u didn't make it that though because that's not like our boys at all...this was wicked!!! i love the fact that you said that Dean never has to say the "L" word cuz he lives ity everyday...soo very true:)
Author's Response: Gotcha! That was my evil plan all along. And I agree - it's not Dean's way to say the other L word, even though I did make him say it in Fractured, but then, he thought he was going to hell.... well, that's my excuse - lol. Glad you enjoyed it.
