Oh boy, thats different. I don't quite know what to say. I couldn't believe you wouldn't find a cure for Dean somewhere somehow. It certainly is a different way of cheating the deal. I popped over to read this after seeing it nominated in the 2008 Ungen awards and I'm very glad I did.

Gaaah! I almost choked from tears nearing the end. And still this makes a happy ending in my strange mind, both brothers still around and kicking evils' ass. A perfect way for keeping them forever exactly as they are :)

Author's Response: Thank you so much! Once this idea had formed I couldn't make it go away, and I did try. I tried to write the other ending, the "it didn't happen" ending and it wouldn't work. I plan to return to this 'verse occasionally. I'm thinking of writing a one-shot a month am move their lives in this world forwards. Hugs, Muffy

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I fought with the ending for awhile. I wrote it shortly after the episode and then spent time trying to rewrite it. It never worked. I will be back to this 'verse very soon. The possibilities are exciting!

Hmm.....well, on one hand, they made a pair of very very sexy vamps....LOL but there is no cure!!! i was heartbroken....i thought they can stay human....sigh...but it's a good 'verse. and i do like to see the other stories for it.. :)

You... that... Sam... AWESOME! Wow! No cure... I felt my heart drop when I read that, I didn't even realise how much I'd been hoping until my hopes were dashed! You had me hoping when there was no hope - that's just devilish! :P I wonder what will happen when Sam wakes... I wonder how they'll both go on. I was going to bed, I was all set but then I saw that you'd updated this and well, I had to read it and I'm so glad I did! It was amazing and I can't wait for more whenever it comes. :D Really loved this story!

You know it's funny I was sort of hoping htere would be a cure too, but it wouldn't happen, it would have been a cheat. This was so hard to write! I sat over it, trembling as I write the last bit, tears streaming down my face. The emotions were so raw, I think it came close to killing me, I'll be back to play here very soon!

Muffy. God this is teriffic. There's a frantic stacatto beat to a ( ah a heartbeat huh?) that adds to the disorientation and panic that both Sammy and Dean are feeling. The bits about wanting his brother back and Dean not wanting to go to hell was heartbreaking. And so Dean is infected isn't he? OMG? how're ya gonna save him? We might need Dr Dave! Author's Response: Thank you so much! I have to admit to a few nerves about this story. The emotion is so raw in both brothers it's proving hard to write, but I go on. I started this after it first aired in the US, put it down, tried to rewrite it, then evnetually after five tries, went back to my original story.

Ooooo, this is so good! I love how Dean thought he just had a hangover. Switching POVs worked really well in this one and I'm glad you brought Bobby into the mix:)

Little things ike that can really change my reaction to a story. Sometimes I worry I'm too detailed...but I love it. Sam is so broken, he's hard to write in this one. The fact that he keeps hoping for a cure, but doubting it makes the emotion hard. I won't tell you one way or the other if there is...no spoilers on this one!
