I should be writing but for some reason, just wanted to read something. This was amazing, a very powerful story told from a perspective that allowed me as a reader to be in that place of despair all the way til the end. It was personal for me, and that takes skill, which you most certainly have, hon. My hope was restored when it came to the end...

This is my hope.

This is what I fight for. This is what I live for.

My hope is a boy.

That boy is my brother…

Awesome story, especially for your first one shot. Looks like I'll be visting more often.

 Schelz x

That was one of the most powerful pieces of reflection I have yet to read on this site, on any site. I am sitting here stunned with the depth of feeling you bought out in these painful, truthful, beautiful words.

Your words "They do not dare to open their eyes and look at me. They believe I am angry and cold and never imagine looking underneath." made my heart speed up because I believe this is exactly how Dean feels. The irony is its a choice he makes. Your description of the contrasts of living in the light and dark were stunning - in the picture you paint and the emotions you portray, as well as in how well it was written.

And who could deny your ending, Yep, an incredible piece of work. *standing ovation*

Author's Response:

Wow... Thank you SO much.. Honestly, when I posted this, I didn't really think this was some of my best work.

But I see, that my hope have been fulfilled. I wanted to convey an emotion, and I'm very glad I succeeded... Thank you VERY much for the kind words... they mean the world to me.

Andrea, this has a life all its own, beautiful, emotional, vividly descriptive and very very sad...I know what you mean about being worried about writing one-shots cos I feel the same, they feel so much more intense than longer stories but you have done a fantastic job here and you should be VERY happy with it.

Author's Response:

I know this'll sound weird, but i'm actually not... I wrote it, not really as a story for this site, but more as a vent. for my emotions, but it just seemed to suit Dean very well... I still think it sounds better in my native tongue though... But thank you for the review... this one was a little more personal for me, so a lot more nervous with this little one... But thanks... i appreciate the time you spend on writing all these great and constructive reviews...

Wooof... A long one... I'll shut up now :D
