I loved it! I remember the first time I heard of the Sammies...first thing I thought of was Sam Haha ;)

Author's Response: Thanks for the review, glad it tickled your funnybone, as intended. When I first heard about Quizno's Sammies, I thought, hmm, there's a story in there somewhere... and it finally got written for the prank wars challenge;-)    Sue

You know, maybe I'm gonna have to try me a sammie at Quiznos.  I know I definitely want me a Deanie Baby!

Thanks for the read, B.J.

Author's Response: You're welcome, B. J. and thanks for the review!

I LOVE the sammies!!! Having never heard of Quizno's I did my own research and had a ball watching the sammie commercials on the net.

These lines had me in fits  - "There's all kinds of sammies, Sammy...Schoolboy Sammy combo. I got the regular, meatier Hunter Sammy combo, with a couple extra Sammies thrown in,.." All those sammies!! I could just picture Sam's exasperated expression and Dean's pleased as punch face. Too funny! Great idea to use this in a prank fic, of course Dean would milk it for everything he could!!

And the 'Deanie Baby' with the oh so appropriate poem was so darn funny!! Great thinking!!

Terrific job!

Author's Response: Thank you, glad you enjoyed this ep of the prank wars. I was laughing myself at "all kinds of sammies, Sammy" and I knew I had to work a 'bite me" reference in there, too.    Sue

Great job, gotta laugh at the Sammies, and Brutus.  Thanks for the laugh - Kel

Author's Response: You're welcome, Kel. Gotta say, after finishing Choices, I needed to work on something light, so the prank war was just the thing.

Quizno's - your stomach don't growl for 'em, it roars!

ROFL

And that's my birthday, dude!

Liked this one, nice touch with the research.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review, TozaBoma. I research all my stories, to varying degrees. It's one of the (many) reasons it takes me so long to finish anything;-)   Sue

I loved this!  Every single time I see a Quiznos commerical for their flatbread Sammies, I chuckle and, of course, think of our Sammy.  I was delighted to see you use that here.  THEN, you used my second favorite current TV show, NCIS.  That brought a huge smile to my face.  And "Deanie Baby"--how funny!  Great work!

Author's Response: Thanks, Vanessa, glad you liked this. I did a double-take the first time I heard that Quizno's commercial, too, and filed it away for future reference;-)  I went on an NCIS kick a while ago, watched most of my Season 1 and 2 DVDs and the prank scene stuck in my mind when I started plotting this, so I borrowed it. NCIS is my second favorite current TV show, too! Sue

Sure did and I so want my own Deanie Baby..how cute is that...and it would have to be a Rottweiler, it just fits too well...lol

Great work, loved it!

Author's Response: Thanks, bulletbabe, glad this tickled your funny bone. I almost went with the German Shepherd dog, but I kept searching Ty's site and when I read the last line of the Rottweiler's poem, I knew I found my Deanie Baby.
