What a pleasure to read!  Looking at the Winchesters' lives through the Impala is an unique idea.  I love how she refers to each one and has feelings and thoughts about them to personalize her relationships.  I also enjoyed how she compared her damages to their injuries.  Great job!

Author's Response:

So do I.  I just found a two door version of her within walking distance!  I think I know where my Economic Stimulus refund is going.  Wink-wink, knudge, knudge

Thanks for reading and reviewing.  It really makes my day when you take the time to do so.

What an amazing POV - original, funny and touching. I love the way you give life to the Impala - the way her headlights misted when John left the boys after the Deva attack in Chicago or the small touches that put her in-sync with her driver; her tank grumbles like Dean's stomach. Brilliant!

Of course Dean is her favorite - after all she is his favorite Lady too!!

For me there is more than just a slight maternal touch - the way she looks out for them and worries about them, but there is always her overriding loyalty to Dean that makes it a more personal relationship. So many great images here and the Impala's interpretation of the hunts made for a great read. Dean and his baby definitely belong together! Great work, congrats on the feature!!!

Author's Response: Daw shucks!  Thanks for all the kind words.  Words can not express the amount of graditude I feel towards you for spending your time reading and reviewing my handy work.  Its exciting to see that my story was not only fun to write but fun to read as well.

Hey Michelle, this is VERY original and well written to boot, I got completely swept up in it...guess it helps that the Impala is my third fav, character too...lol

Just noticed you have another story...heading over there to check that out to.

Great work and very deserving of a feature!

Author's Response:

The car is what attracted me to the show!  I don't do scary very well but the Impala is just so sweet!  I couldn't pass it up and I am so glad I didn't. I'm a Supernatural Addict.

Thankyou for reading my dedication to the most stable character on the show.  And for taking the time to review it.  It really turned my frown upside down when I saw it made the "Features List".  That was awesome and so are you!

Very clever. Very original. A lovely take on the first season of Supernatural and I just love the line about the youngest Winchester giving her a black eye.

Author's Response: Thankyou for all the lovely comments.  Never thought "clever" would be used to describe anything I did, but there is always a first!  I'm glad you enjoyed it.  Thank you so much.

That was utterly incredible! Clever and original, and so very, very deep. This awesome Metallicar has been through everything with our boys, she is a Winchester through and through and it's about time someone told her side of the story.

And aren't you just a Tappet-Head!!! Reading that first paragraph was like eaves-dropping in the shed at my place where muscle cars and men get ready for raceday! I can't get away even here!! Good for you! What's hotter than a girl with such accurate knowledge of horsepower and engine parts?,,,NOTHING!! Well, except an Impala full of Winchesters!!!

I LOVED your description of that horrible night when the semi hit the Impala. "her fluids poured out of her like the blood from the Winchesters inside her poured out of them" Good God, awesome analogy! "She recalled the sensations of confusion, hatred, defiance, fear, panic and pain that flowed from her passengers" Holy crap! Fantastic! These words are a perfect summary of what we saw and felt in that moment when we couldn't believe our eyes.

I loved how you described the Impala as an integral part of the team with the same fierce loyalty, faith and devotion. Loved your phrase "her favourite Winchester".

Thanks for the great ride - literally!!!

Author's Response:

I practically grew up in the North 40 at the Brickyard;  fast cars are...wow!  My dad is the proud owner of a 1970 GTO and my younger brother and I spent a lot of time in the backseat, being lulled to sleep by her perfect growl, on many a long road trip.  She's been a constant in our family, just as the Impala is to the Winchesters.

I was exstatic to see that the story was so well excepted.  Thankyou for spending your precious time reading it.

This was cute. The silent Winchester figures so much into the brothers lives and it was nice to hear her part of the story.

Author's Response:

Thank you for taking the time to read it.  I had a blast writing it and was pleasantly surprised to see so many people enjoyed reading it.
