Well now that's mean. You go and get me all addicted to your writing, then you leave me with a cliffie like that? Cruel! But seriously, your writing is brilliant - it's got that dark, cold edge to it that calls up some of the...less cheerful episodes (most of which are my favourites!), then you toss in just the right kick of black (as midnight) humour to keep the pace moving. Glad your little boy is better, and not just 'cause I don't have to feel guilty about pulling an Oliver Twist and begging pitifully for more!
Author's Response: Thank you so much. I'm really glad you like the dark atmosphere. I've been trying hard to keep that in each chapter. I really wish I had more time to work on each chapter. It's been a bit of a rush job to get each one done - I have 2 jobs at the moment and a grumpy little boy so don't get half as much time for writing as I wish I did - so getting reviews like yours, really makes it all worthwhile. OMG... who is this now ....????????Ben. ... Marty....Yellow Eyes...????? Sammy needs to get to a hospital. I'm with Dean, that Doc Channing is too flippy to trust. Deans thoughts are troubled-but, it's still HIS Sammy.... Evil cliffie..... this is killing me , not knowing who is in the way now. OMG... this just keeps getting better and better!!!! WOW!!!! the demon really did clean house in terms of the hunters. It figures that idiot Ben still thinks Sam is responsible for the demon. OK... Sam used some of his latent abilities-GREAT!!!!! I just hope Ben and Marty realize that Sam has saved their miserable lives. They still need to get their a..ses kicked by Dean for hurting Sam. I hate these hunters-especially that idiot Marty. Ben Waddell may think he deserves revenge-but being possessed-Sam didn't have a chance. You have skillfully built up the tension, suspense, terror-Sam is badly hurt, Dean is ready to explode-and we have a visit from a demon...hum.. OUTSTANDING work!!!!! I can't wait to see where this goes...this is one time I wish the demon kills these morons, or better yet possess each one and give them a taste of what Sam had to endure. More please!!!! Continuing to love the story and such a cliff-hanger - how could you leave it there? But a question: is Sam still tied down to the floor? I ask because if he is "Dean lifts a hand and it floats uncertainly in the air. He doesn't know how to touch Sam..." and "Dean's hand is suddenly enclosed by Sam's long slim fingers" doesn't make sense. Sorry to sound critical but the picture you painted so well in my head in chapter 1 isn't so clear now - it's a tad confused. For all that I still hope the rest of the story comes as quickly as the first 5 chapters.
