It's good to see someone else appreciates the damage "just a cat bite" can do (regardless of whether it's a normal cat or a supernatural cat)! I know someone who lost a finger to a cat bite - nearly lost her whole hand... and one of my vet school professors ended up in Urgent Care just yesterday due to a cat bite! I'm enjoying this story immensely... keep it coming! :)

Oh, I just loved happy, hurt Dean on pain meds. Who knew how much joy he would get from Curling??.....lol Well, now that rabies is off the cards, I'm thinking maybe possessed cat and something to do with that golden locket, the cat sure came running when Sam picked it up. Author's Response: Oh thank you so much! Yeah I learned the hard way about cat bites, but nothing like a fever, painkillers and time alone in the ER to make a story pop up! Luckily I got off easier than Dean will.

I'm loving Welcome to the Jungle but I must admit you can never get enough of Hurt Dean and he's just so sweet here, "I don't feel good, Sammy.", reaching out for his hand, "Can we go?", ahh Bless him!! It sounds as if Dean is in for a rough ride with his temperature rising and those dark purple streaks heading towards his wrist. I'm hooked already. I'm sorry to hear this one's based on personal experience, cause by the sound of it cat bites are very bad. I'm hoping the severed human hand bit wasn't part of the experience! Cat bites are bad--who knew? I certainly didn't. But then there I was in the ER with a huge red hand. No severed human hand in my story though, just a mad old Wolfman.
