Stupendous! OMG! That chapter took my breath away. You wrote with such descriptive feeling I almost forgot that I wasn't Dean and Ruthie. My admiration for Dean and Sam increased ten-fold. Fighting monsters is one thing but fighting what is supposed to be humane is quite another. And Ruthie---the Winchesters battles are nothing compared to the horror she lives with every day. I can't imagine living with the man who killed your mother. Amazing! Incredible! More!!!!

The fact that you identifyed with my version of these characters is just such a HUGE compliment . The subject matter is tough and very challenging for me - I don't want to appear glib with the reality of some peoples lives, but find that kind of strength inspirational. It tends to put my life into perspective and I have to agree with Dean - in some things in this world... Monsters I get , but people ARE crazy!!!! You are for to be having the next chapter soon, ya? This is absolutely AMAZING. I'm sure you get this a lot, but your writing style is so engaging. Your prose is almost flawless. Your pacing fantastic! I hope you're not just writing fan fiction. This is publishable quality writing. (Though you want to watch the whole whether/weather thing). BRILLIANT!

I have been following your story since the beginning, and have enjoyed it very much. I keep telling myself to only read the stories that say complete because I am an impatient reader (LOL), but I'm afraid I'd miss too many great stories that way. I also enjoy stories with the Boys as children or teens, filling in the backspaces for the wonderful characters Jensen and Jared bring so convincingly to life. And I must admit to being a rabid Dean Girl, so your story is especially delightful. I'll be waiting (heavy sigh ;} ) for the next chapter! Keep up the good work!

Abi, great chapter. your description of what Ruby is doing to Dean, Excellent. Dean not being able to fight her because of his guilt. lets hope Pastor Jim and Caleb can help him. and poor Sam having to watch and not being able to stop this.

That was the longest ride I've ever been in on! I didn't think they were ever going to get to Pastor Jim's to get Dean help and then once they did, there wasn't really any help. You have me clinging to my seat begging for more!

I wanted Ruth to have a bit of dimension to her and the fact that anger and rage (both hers and her Fathers) has twisted this child into a vengeful spirit is a little sad for me, but obviously its not puppies and rainbows for Dean either! As usual he seems to get caught in the fallout of someone else's obsession for revenge - your right Poor Dean! Abi.

Great chapter! I can't wait to see events as Ruth remembers them. My guess is the only thing that would make Dean leave Ruth is to get Sam to safety. I love Ridley James' character Caleb Reaves! So glad he's playing in your story!

Your theories are interesting ....yes that is all your getting !!!! LOL! I am the biggest Caleb Reaves fan also - except I am not at the level of confidence where I would attempt to recreate him. So my character is Caleb Brolin (as I don't believe that they gave Caleb a surname before Meg gave him the Colombian neck tie!) and though I may not be able to help the similarities between Ridleys awesome three dimensional character and my version, they are not exactly the same. Still I hope that this version keeps you entertained. Abi

Now that we know who all the principle players are we can get down to the fun again. It was a good chapter and helped to fill in some of the questions in my mind.
Author's Response: Ha Ha!!!! The "fun" huh - yeah, I am not sure what it says about me that "fun" is messing with Dean .... its just sooo satisfying!!!!! (Sick woman - coming through!!!!) There is one more principle player on the way in the next chapter - this story kind of turned into a season one reunion, but I really felt the writers set out such great characters ... and then slaughter them!!!!! Needed to outline some elements in this chapter, so glad it cleared up some points for you. Abi.

I love the Wee-chester flashbacks on the show, they hint at so many bittersweet and milk out of your nose funny stories that you can't help but be inspired.
