I just re-read this fabulous story. In light of CSPWDT and Heart, the single tear just keeps popping up. Good for you to be the first one to really see its significance and tie it to a fabulous back story.

That was just brilliant. All of the themes of Dean's life are in this story - all the loss and love and loyalty.
