This is a great bit of angst and brotherly concern. Like the way you intermingled quotes from the series with your tag, too. It felt like you glossed over Sam's three months alone after MS; I don't think Dean would let that go so quickly. Still, seated on the cold ground next to Sam's puke, is not condusive to long conversations. I think your timeline is probably off, and JIB is closer to eight months into Dean's deal, especially with the shortened third season we're going to get. Looking forward to reading more of your stuff!

Awesome tag. You nailed our boys - dialogue, gestures, reactions and emotions, connection with each other. Your description was detailed and thorough, and it was in sync with the season. So much running through the boys heads, so much to contend with... You had my heart hammering when Sam was trying to portray to Dean his experiences and emotions in those months without him. Sam's traumatised face at the end of that episode just tore my heart out and I too, needed more. This little fic is the perfect more. Well done on a great piece of writing.
