IT IS A GOOD STORY TO PASS UP TOO. THANK YOU! If there where to be a possibility for everyone to be able to have a preminison of there last day with instructions to another loved one to what to do. then I would also do that.

Devastating. You have captured Sam's shock beautifully here, your description of the surroundings and all it communicates about life going on, only serves to deepen our empathy with Sam.
Dean permeates this whole story - the note... perfectly in character, short, sweet and predictably threatening when it comes to 'his baby', his method of exit clean, so Sam is spared no doubt, and of course calling Bobby to make sure his brother is ok. I am with you in the hoping that the deal IS broken, but here you have provided the reader with a haunting alternative, in keeping with the characters.
Wonderfully sad.... please change the music on your Ipod, before I run out of tissues!!!!

Although of course the thought of the Deal actually going ahead breaks all our hearts and crushes us, your idea of Dean taking control is so Dean that I ached when I read this. Sam running to cope with his grief was also heartbreaking. Don't know if i loved it because i'm in denial but i sure appreciated the gentle end compared to what Hell has in mind. well written and thought out, great title.

Wonderful job! I always thought Dean would go down fighting to the end, but the way you describe this makes it seem so much like what Dean would do. You changed my point of view completely.
