WOW--you weren't sure you liked the way this turned out??? It's absolutely fantastic! That first part (the coveted writhing) was superbly done--I re-read it 3 times before continuing on with the story. What I liked about it was Sam being right there and the exchange between the brothers--especially the part when Sam grabs him and forces him to be still. GUH! I loved that part so very much. And then when Dean said he was going to be sick and Sam rolled him on his side and calmed him until the nausea passed. OH, and the part about "Why are you petting me like a dog?" etc. LOL That was hysterical and classic Winchester for both boys. If my occasional random, rambly email to you inspires this kind of fantastic stuff---I'm gonna do it more often. LOL LOL Lovely, lovely, lovely.

LOL you know when you say Sam needs to take a lesson you meant this chapter right? and not another chapter where both Bobby and Sam fell asleep and Dean would be subjected to more torture and would be nearly dead by the time you are done with him??? and followed by Bobby and Sam being so remorseful that you would make your readers' hearts bleed for them??? Author's Response: Well, my first thought is Sam needs to learn how to take a lesson at staying awake because I could really teach him a thing or two about that (and boy, would I have fun doing it too!) Believe me when I say that Dean's torture is far from over (Yikes!) but we'll see how that all plays out. Ok, and it's ok, you can ramble...I don't mind!!

Really enjoyed the little funny spots you had in here, especially the food talk. Knew this wouldn't last very long and naturally things worsened - first Sam discovered the rest of the page in John's journal ('supernatural bible of sorts', great) is missing, the important one I guess, then another evil turn when Sam falls asleep and Dean is attacked again - and (this situation isn't desperate enough already??) he also hears the baby, this is so creepy. Yes, at least Bobby is there, but it seems he doesn't know either about the baby part (the missing page, right?), so they are still so in trouble, big way bad! Great update!

Damn, this got buried fast and deep! Great update though. Love the vitamin bit and this line “Damn it Sam, why do you gotta ride my ass like a hemorrhoid?” so Dean and so funny! Knew Sam would fall asleep, he just had to. Wonder what's on the other side of that long, dark hair and white dress.

LOL i think i'm evil but i was expecting Sam to fall asleep and Dean to be attacked again while waiting for Bobby..... and i wasn't disappointed. although i think that Dean could use the break, but where's the fun in that?? :) And yes, finally Bobby is there, but can prevent that thing from attacking Dean again???

Ooohhh, I loved this chapter. It had a little bit of everything! I laughed outright at the prenatal vitamins. I think I agree with you--if Dean knew what they were, they'd never pass his luscious lips. So things even out a little for him--a slight reprieve--and then his phantom attacker comes back when Sam's eyes slip closed in sleep. And do you know how many times I've read the line: "It's the baby, Sam, the damn baby..." he moaned, rolling from his side to his back, and then back onto his side again, occasionally kicking his feet. He's writhing! I love, love, love it. Can we have more of that?? Awwww, do you really have to go back to work today??? I want more chapters, darn it. Phooey. hehe :-)

I liked this chapter. The doctor being a gynecologist was kind of funny. I never heard of a churel. Interesting.
Author's Response: Thanks, glad you got a laugh out of the small attempt at comic relief through all the pain. A churel is an Indian legend about a woman that dies during childbirth and comes back as a blood sucking ghost, at least that's what Wikipedia says.

It was either gynecologist or proctologist and I really didn't want to go that second route...although that would probably have been just as amusing and the reaction most likely would have been the same. Don't worry about poor Sam until Bobby get's there but at least he's not that far away.

Gripping, intense chapter. I enjoyed the lighter moment when Dean learned that a female doctor, a gynecologist was coming to see him, I would've liked to see his face, lol. Poor Dean, he's getting worse and worse. A blood-sucking ghost is haunting the room, that's creepy. I can't wait for Bobby to get there.

I hope Bobby is on his way to Wisconsin while he talks. Once Dean starts freaking out in pain Sam will get the idea that it isn't safe to take him from the motel room.
Author's Response: You know, anything I write that's set in season 2 ends up with Bobby in it, so I'm sure he'll show up sooner or later. I love the idea of Dean freaking out in pain.
