wooow... scary. Poor Dean! I bet Sam's feeling guilty. I loved Dean's anger with the clerk, so funny! And does that change in Dean's behavior have anything to do with the key and the room or just the bump in the head?? Can't wait to find out!! So much more than okay!! You now have here an atmosphere like in one of Poe's novels with this invisible attacker (and things get worse now, Sam can't leave Dean even for a short time anymore) and the boys confined to this haunted room, the evil closing in, horrifying! The marks on Dean's neck and throat, no wonder Sam panicked. This Brian sure wasn't a big help (reminds me of some younger guys at work) and I'm worried more than just a bit he might be the only one available to help (wished Bobby would be there), poor Sam! Really anxious to know if they will make it this time to the hospital, leaving the room won't be easy at all, don't have a good feeling about this. More please!!
Author's Response: Thanks Sabine. I can always count on you to keep me straight! I'm still not sure what's more dangerous...Sam leaving Dean alone or Dean falling asleep. Seems neither one is good for him. You are soo right about Brian too, what a waste of oxygen. (I know way too many guys like that...they must have been the inspiration) I'm still debating if Bobby's on the way or not...we'll see what happens there. You know how much I love the guy!

Author's Response: Please Please Please do not go into convulsions! That would make me feel absolutely terrible!! I can't handle that kind of guilt. I'm pretty sure I'll have some answers up in the next chapter, but then again answers sometime just create more questions, don't they? (Ok...that was a little weird, wasn't it?) As for the cliff hangers...I think I'm an addict. Maybe I should find a good support group. Seriously, I am very happy to hear this one's going well...can never be too sure and I thank you for letting me know.

This was so worth the wait!! Terrifying, pure horror and these terrible cruel things 'Sam' said to Dean (one of the worst was that Dean would have done nicely as his dog), perverting about everything Dean believes in, there is something major league behind I guess. How can they possibly fix this? And at the end not even the usual 'I'm okay' from Dean, this is really bad. Hope Bobby can give a hint, but how could he even reach Sam? Sam would have to leave the room and his brother for this but would he dare to? Could you update soon, please??

Incredible update, Helen. I loved it. The way you described the attack on Dean--wow. Something sure is after him. Maybe more than one somethings. That last line too, where Dean's begging Sam to make it stop shows just how desperate things are becoming. Can't wait for the next chapter.
