You know it takes a lot to make me cry on these stories...but you managed it with this..*sniff* My eyes literally welled up, and it was so unbelievably sad, especially when you revealed who was dead at the end, although I kinda guessed it when the pie and beer line came up. :P At least they lived long, and Dean still had a family. :')

THIS is exactly what makes it all worth while!!!
This story. One of many great, but unfortunately hidden ones. The ones that aren't "just" (and i use the term losely) another fan-fic. The ones that aren't just about it being how cool and georgious the guys are even though I'm a fan of those too.
No, stories like this are about feelings. They feel real. Real heart ache. And no offence meant, but your own feelings shine through. They shine through in the words where you take the time to find and descirbe the beauty around us (in this case, the before mentioned georgious Winchester boys :) )
Wonderful in its sadness and beaty.
Great job.

Bittersweet all the way!! What a touching image, and I liked how you drew back the curtain, revealing the brothers lives and the fact that at last Dean was not alone. Though this was sad, it was pretty wonderful too and had a comforting tone to it. Dean's message of Farewell for now, and love gugh!!!! I think what made it more bearable was that they had such a full life, and obviously did so much good with it, also the fact that Dean seems to have found a path for himself that means he can let Sam go without needing to follow him immediately - no deals here. How differently this plays to that other time Sam died.
Really enjoyed Grandpa Dean, and love that song - thanks for the read!
