Author's Response: Yeah, it may be boxers or boxer briefs and t-shirt--but still--underwear is underwear. hehehe I couldn't help but wrap up the story that way. It just seem so perfect "Winchester brothers" to me. Thanks again for reading and reviewing my stuff.

Firstly I have to let you know that I am appreciating your writing skills on face value, as I haven't watched this far on in the season... but I needed a quick fix and I have enjoyed your work in the past (yes, it kind of does sound like I am calling you a "sure thing" right?!). Now having gotten that out of the way.... you haven't lost your touch! I liked this piece a lot. I know I am not appreciating it in context of the show, but as a reader. I loved your description of thousands of rings of Demons and representing the hierarchy through their eye colour. The circle thing was a little Dante and worked for me. The effect of this dream (premonition?) on Dean was fantastic, the physical response and psychological fallout- excellent stuff. Sam really seems to be at the end of his rope trying to cope with the "I'm fine" act!!!! And you bring it all back to normal with the boys usual banter - that really is the source of their heroism for me, that whole laughing in spite of it all thing, and you wrote it here really well. All in all - good fix, thank you!!!!

It's a story I feel passionately about for the simple reason that it--the dream scene anyway--was so very vivid in my head. I desperately wanted this story to be great.

Ness, this is fantastic, I was completely in the moment and this would have been a great finish to that episode. The nightmare and after effects were trully haunting, and as always expertly written. Beautiful job!
Author's Response: Thank you, Louy. I do believe this is my first tag/alternate ending for an episode of the show. I was dropping off to sleep the night following the episode, and the nightmare just popped into my head. I had to write it down and just knew that I had to write the tag. I'm so very glad you liked it. I figured it might not be everyone's cup of tea.
