There's a sequel!!! yeay.....i was hoping it will continue til the last 7 days, but i'm so happy that there is a sequel!!!!! It's interesting to read about how Sam managed to get himself 'invited' to Dean's appointment with the crossroads..i would have thought he would threaten, or blackmail, or at the very least, yell. but no, he made Dean promise. and that, i feel, carries more weight than any yelling ever will. And your choice of movie rocks. the whole irony of it. Constantine! LOL
Author's Response: hehe, loved the movie, but love the character more, and the parallels with Dean especially at the moment are tangible. Glad you've enjoyed this story and I hope you like the sequel as much...it picks up 3 days before the deal and goes right through till the aftermath...lol Shouldn't be long before it's posted. wow. in my opinion at least you really nailed the brothers' voices and thoughts in their talk. and the description in this last chapter was off the map. loved it and i'll be waiting in anticipation for the sequel. i just gotta see what exactly Bobby has planned.

awwwwwwwwww!!!! An END but not and end!!!!! not sure if I really like this, Louy..... I feel a bit like Dean and I are hanging on a gibbet...twisting in the breeze.......At least I have GREAT COMPANY ....I mean hanging with our hero and all.....but still....... :0( just feeling a bit undone....At least they got an awesome movie for a final flick.....just about worn my copy out....
Author's Response: Jude, I hereby promise you that although you are hanging at the moment (which was kind of done deliberately to set up for the next one, sorry) you won't be for very long. That was scary. to me anyway. all those 'things' going back into the rift, and the ravens and the black dog, etc and it was sucking them back in....very descriptive, and i can picture the scene. and i'll do a David and run straight home! LOL And good to know Sam is on his way to becoming his usual Sam self...and hopefully Dean would pull him back from the edge he was from....i know he's just worried, but acting like that, and going against Dean has me worried as well.

Wow. Lovely. Simply lovely. I knew Dean would never sit in the backseat and not help. I loved your descriptions of the gigantic "cloud" of ravens and of all the spirits and such getting sucked back into the void. Awesome!

Lou. Sam's encroaching breakdown is killing me and its a bit of a surprise as I'm a Dean-o-phile through and through but this slow, subtle and tortuous descent into chaos and disphoria is so distressing. i love that Bobby's anxieties are narrating it for us as he is so wise and rational and it takes such a lot for him to be pushed to the brink. Thus his anger at Sam details the desperation of the situation and the heartbrake of the breakdown. Dean is of course his wonderful, stupid, macho, totally gorgeous and impossible self and adorable. Ravens and black dog awesome and I really like David he's turned into a bit of a sweety in my books. Terrific chapter Lou and the naked apart from bandaged shoulder not too shabby either. Loves ya Hun Bev xx
