Damn you, I'd have every right to hate you, but like I stated before this story hit me more then anything . . . I'm the oldest (girl), and I have three brothers and I'm more close to one. I've protected him with sharpened nail claws. It's a bit hard for me to ever think for a day without any or him. I coulod not live without my brother although I'm married I still need to take care of that idget, but I can get mad at an impresive writer. I am no devoted to reading all of your stories. Very heart felt story at the end that with in my tears I had to laugh. So that is outragously good and confortable in y books. So, thanks ever so deeply.

This is the out most scary as hell of a story. The presentaion of detail is superb that probably Dean Koontz and Stephen King would cringe and be proud of.

Thank youo for not failing on the WINCHETER PHENOMENOM! I'm not sure if its spelled that way, but waht ever. I do like the imagery aspect of how the whole resetating was helping Dean, and at leat getting that dan hunt. done.

This is lutecriss, to have Dean be in this position and especaily haveing all the emotions that are rectifing his only brother to god knows what. I couold imagly see what was happening, and I wanted to help dean as much as possible. this is getting more and more scary. This spell better work for dean to go through all this HELL. To even think that feeling like HELL was only this simple.

It is understandeing of what Dean is for Sam = Protector. Sam for Dean is something different = LIFE I do like that encounter that you placed against the damn dog from hell, but it is awfully close. Sam is like a power line of life for dean for the last statement of walking side by side to ensure the price of one for two. strong thoughts.

The motion of details that is placed in the scene, is like an ocean at a beach. Not every wave is the same. I do like the initative of evaluation of weather one deserves the price to life or not.

Now, I have read that RAVENS are not dangerous or agresors, they are like a mythologic sybol of protection. I don't think they would sicerly attack thoes that are not involve in who evers tragedy. Now that is scary shit . . . every morning when I head to school their is two crows that may mean different who knows. That vivid image of eyes and the brat pack of Ravens is simply horifing.

This is getting so uch harder to complet the use of thingking. I feel like my senses are trying to make everything more understandable from both sides. I do applaude you for applying the meory factor of all four hunters and others as well. Good detail of the strugle Bobby has to do for the brothers. Interesting how Sam tries to learn little by little of how to accept the fate of what Dean had requested and is also trying to understand of how to handle his own with out his loveing angelic brother. This is very poetic.

Poe, was a great and still is a great spectator of writen poetery, but this is besically sufficating me. I like the statement that dean places in himself who will be there for SAMMY? A hunting question. I love it.

Wow, what an ending. You've left things half-done - Dean resignedly awaiting his fate, Sam trying to keep his hope alive and not let Dean know that there is any hope at the same time, and Bobby worried and wondering if they can really pull this off. Man, I'm glad that you're well into the sequel by now! Sue

That was an amazing graveyard scene - a picthed battle with Dean - told to stay in the car - in the thick of it. Awesome! Intense! And you even had the outsider's view of it, with David watching from the sidelines and then scurrying back to home and safety, like any normal person would. Fantastic! Sue

I keep saying the same thing over and over, but this is intense - saturated in plot, feelings, angst and atmosphere - a ton of atmosphere. Sue

Wow. Intense. Poor Sam, fighting with the black dog over Dean, not seeing how he can win, but refusing to give up. At least I knew that Bobby would come to the resuce with the exorcism. Then things just get more intense, Sam forcing Dean to drink that horrible concoction, and the ritual is finally starting. Another creepy, mesmerizing effect, the black lines from the oversized devil's trap wriggling free of their positions on the drawing and closing in on Dean. Poor baby, I really hope he doesn't remember any of this. Sue

Wow, Bobby shows up and things just go to hell. There's a ton of stuff going on in this chapter. A retransformation sigil, what a cool concept. If I understand it correctly, this means that the energy/entities that escape from the fissure are transformed into good energy/entities, so they help people, acting totally the opposite of what would've been their normal behavior. Fascinating. Then, why did the black dog who saved that boy revert back to evil and attack Bobby and the boys? The more time it spends outside, the more it reverts back to its true nature? Complicated, huh? My ears are still ringing with Dean's screams, so I'm off to read the next chapter. Good thing it's Labor Day weekend and I don't have to go to work tomorrow;-) Sue

Whoa. Interesting blend of Sam and Dean's thoughts and the outside world colliding. Why did the Ravens attack our boys? To drive them away from the very-near-future crime scene? Hmmm, guess I'll have to read more and find out! Sue

The first scene with Dean dwelling on the little things was just remarkable. And your description of the cemetery is creepy, haunting, drenched in atmosphere. All those huge ravens remind me of "The Birds", although I've never seen the whole movie, just the snippets was enough. Great job, very intense! Sue

Hi Louy, Well, it's been so long since I started this that I went back and re-read the first chapter, too. I did this instead of watching NCIS, my second favorite tv show, which should tell you something about the power of your words and plotting, girl. So, I'm way enjoying reading this - angst and mystery and hunting plotlines all being woven together. Great dialogue! Sue

Yaaay, he's back! That was pretty intense back there with Dean not knowing who was holding him down, still managing to worry about what was happening to Sam, then the awful realisation that there was nothing he could do anyway. The trap entwining the pair of them was awesome! I loved sad Sammy in the hospital where it all got a bit too much for him, who can resist those eyes brimming with tears! Then at the end when Dean got back on the bed 'and as Dean settled on the bed he placed one hand over his brother’s head, fingers twisting gently in his hair and felt him slip back into sleep once more.' That was a real tear-jerker! Wonderful stuff, can't wait for more but I got to go get the kids now. Jane

Oh Lou, Poor Dean - talk about out of the frying pan and into the fire. He's in such a huge world of hurt here. Such vivid descritpions, I can see the whole terrifying scene playing out in front of me. I loved Sam trying to make Dean drink the foul tasting potion, I just hope Dean can't remember it afterwards - for Sams' sake!! I gotta go find out what happens. Superb! Jane

Louy, I'm so pleased this story's finished, cause that would've been one helluva wicked cliffie to be waiting on. It's always good to see Bobby on the scene, his plan to save Dean sounds pretty scary though. Deans' 'He didn’t want to be forgotten.' was so poignant, made me sad... Some wonderful Winchester/Singer snark going on here, perfectly placed humour to ease the tension. Then Ouch and Ouch again with the big black dog! Poor Dean, having a practise run for the puppy chow! Sams' 'If Dean went to hell today, the Winchester brothers would walk in together side by side.' brought a tear to my eye. I'm off to the next one. Jane

Ouch, beautiful suturing passages at the beginning, I was wincing along with the pair of them. I must admit you are so right, head wounds are very hot! I'm pleased the ravens decided to have a little snack on Brett, he was totally awful. I love the way you have woven the imminent deal into every aspect, you can feel it's looming presence casting a huge shadow over them both. Pretty much how I felt about it myself. I love the intimate insights into their deeper feelings, interspersed with such delightful Deanlike logic. 'and there you go, a silver lining, if he could swamp himself in all things chick flick maybe he’d be grateful when the black dogs finally came… ' Just perfect to break the tension. The boys slipped into FBI mode so easily, I had a feeling that tyre iron would come back to haunt them. Great update. Jane

Ooh, Louy, that was mega creepy... sent shivers down my spine when that first raven started watching Sam. I loved Sams' '“There’s a bird…It’s staring at me…” Sam cringed inwardly as he heard his own words. “It’s big…and, um…” He stopped talking; knowing he was just making it worse for himself and waited for the inevitable ‘Deanism’ that was sure to follow. ' ...made me laugh out loud. I guess maybe Dean should have given Sammy's intuition a little more credit. Your description of the graveyard, again had my spine tingling, wonderful swirling, creeping mist and twisted, gnarled trees, as Dean said 'Spook Central'. The ravens attack was terrifying, thank god they're back in the Impala, I hope the birds haven't added insult to injury and crapped all over her!! I'll be back for more later. Wonderful update. Hey Louy, Hope you got home okay... It's the start of my summer break so I thought I'd indulge in a little afternoon reading!! Sleep deprivation won't stand in my way!! I've just re-read chapter 1 to refresh my memory, this is a fantastic update. The repressed emotions emanating from the boys here are literally tearing them apart. The argument in the park finally showing Sam how scared Dean really is... just heartbreaking. It's always good to see Bobby on the scene, at least in the world of Fanfic I can hope that Bobby's got a plan that will keep our boy out of hell. I love the insights you've given us here into the boys early lives, 'and the gentle warmth of Dean’s tone, lulling him to sleep…Dean could always make him sleep.' memories of happier times. Well I'm off to the third chapter before the kids come out of school.

Whoa. I'm coming late to the party on this one, but this is an amazing start - full of angst and emo, all sorts of plot threads waiting to be woven together. Does the Gaiman Museum really exist or did you make it up? If it's real, your descriptions make me feel that I've been there, if it's made up of wholecloth, you do magical things with wholecloth! I'm not a graphic novel reader, but I have seen the Constantine movie (hence the Keanu opening to this review;-)) I am doling out reading this in pieces as a reward for getting some writing done. It's Monday, so I cheated and read the chapter first, I have to go write now. Sue
Author's Response: Hah, Sue, I'ts great to see you here, and late is fine with me. Constantine and Dean do have such a lot in common - in fact a blond Jensen would rock that part...mind you what part wouldn't he rock? Thanks for the review and the great compliment my friend, hope you enjoy the rest...but only once you've written another chapter...lol XX Louy
