I liked this one a lot. You had teen Dean spot on. I was so relieved when little Sammy and John came to get him out of that hospital. A doctor, social worker, principal... those dudes were scarier than wendigos. "It dawned on him then that although they’d already spent over an hour in the hospital, neither of Ralph’s parents had shown up." An interesting detail.

Lara Cool Hunny real cool! I love cocky arrogant, scared vulnerably teenage Dean and you have him to a T here. Loved that bit about mom, gee he's so tough til ya mention his Mom! John too, brutish and loving at the same time. What a guy! Loved it! Bev xxxxx

Real nice, some lovely little details..."Dressing was a relief, like putting on armour, donning the costume that made him once again Dean Winchester, instead of some nameless, half-naked, beaten-up kid in an ER who was about to be stuck in foster care. Jeans, boots, his favourite Metallica shirt, amulet, ring, bracelets, finally the leather jacket." Loved this line... And if those guys got chocolate cake every time they got injured they'd both be the size of a HOUSE...lol Great work, enjoyed the read!
