Sam'a jealousy that Dean needed Raphe more than him struck me. How perfectly brotherly! Okay, now the title becomes more apparent, but I'm a little frightened now at just what it means.

LOL....i don't really think that Dean can be an angel either...i mean, i prefer him human!!! but i like the fact that you say he's one of the Gifted, although i have no idea what it means.. i'm sure all will be revealed. And the standoff between Uri and Sam is understandable i guess..i thought that both of them need to blow off steam..and what better way to blow off like that when there are other beings present to ensure it won't go out of hand? Hopefully Raphe can sure Dean some....

Bev, You know how much I love your angels. This is so wonderful. Love Sam and Uri each protecting their brother. Dean's vulnerability and pain are heartbreaking. Please never apologise for long chapters - just apologise for taking forever to get the next one up! I know, it hasn't been that long but I'm really excited by this story. You capture Sam & Dean so well especially the way you reflect John in Sam ( shaking Dean earlier was something I think John would do not something Dean would ever do like that). I just love the angels - or should that be archangels? Giving them such vibrant characters. It was really great to find another chapter up on what is to me Monday morning. A fantastic way to start my week. So thank you!!!!

I know it was a long-ish pause but I did have an excuse (a gathering in London with SN HunterGirl M8s) and also a letter excusing me for nearly 2 weeks from 4 really nice archangels I know! it's so kind of you to say you see John in my Sammy. I do think Sam is often more like John than Dean is, not that Sam would necessarily pleased to know that! And here it's Sam's overwhelming fear for his brother that is making him snap. And my angels are all very individual and special to me and I'm glad you see that in them they're not very 'traditional' angels but then they operate in an aggresive world so cannot afford to be all sweetness and light! Have a good week (where are you Hun you're biog doesn't say?) and I'm writing chapter 4 as we speak so not too long a gap! bev xx

Wow--what a wonderfully fear-filled chapter. Poor, poor Dean. Is it any wonder that he's terrified of Michael? You wrote that so well that one's heart just breaks for Dean in his terror, pain, and confusion. Great update!

Author's Response: Muse! Always nice to see you come back for more Muse! Well it's like this Michael looks, for Dean, like Mikey the daemon because Mikey was inside Michael's body posessing him. So when Dean sees Michael all he can see is Mikey who tortured him! So he's scared of Michael (not that he wants to admit it!) but he's also scared 'cause he knows that making the binding with the angels has changed him but he doesn't understand how yet! But aswell Dean's still somehow hearing Mikey's voice - so maybe Mikey still has some connection to Dean! Phew! so not surprising Dean's worried and he needs all the nursing he can get so you just pop over and give him some help I'm sure he'd appreciate it! And Uriel, well he's a complicated character, not your "totally angelic" angel but has a bit of rebel in him! He and Dean are going to have some fun learning to get on together! Too long? Not long enough for me! It's amazing! I love the dynamics between all your characters, how they interact within their circles of friends/family and with the other group. It's wonderful to read and imagine! "No screw that! He wanted drugs, great big stupefying pain meds that knocked him sideways and meant he would sleep for days." Love it! Couldn't stop laughing.
