Sam's more compassionate than I am. I don't care how sorry Michael felt for being an unwitting part of Dean's torture, I still wouldn't let him alone with my brother! Love the comparison of the gift to sex and how Dean should quickly be able to master it!

I like the parallels between Michael & Uriel relationship and Sam & Dean's. It almost seems reversed - Michael being like Sam and Uriel like Dean. It makes it really interesting. I'm also getting a soft spot for Raphael and Raguel. I can't wait till the other angels leave Uriel alone with Sam & Dean..there's sure to be fireworks. Not to mention the teasing hint of Mikey you've dropped into the mix to entice us. And damn! you've done it again. I'm leaving another review...my third for this story. Still under such encouragement, you've gotta be inspired to write faster huh (g). Regarding a comment you made - I'm sorry I haven't won the Lottery so I can't pay you to write. I confess I would if I could. But then given the level of incredible talent on this site I'd support if I could - I'd be broke again in less than a month, I think. So please, please please continue to do it for love!

Glad you like the parallels, it's deliberate as I kinda want to hold the angels up as a mirror for the boys for them to explore their relationship. Love the relationships you've got building, the way the angels act with Sam, Jo, Dean and each other. And it's all very nice, and homely, and somehow there's this feeling like a storm coming on the horizon... Can't wait!

LOL...... the last line was a very good analogy... “So why does it hurt him to use this gift? Forgive me but it’s a crappy gift if it’s as horrible as you described to use!” Raphe rubbed his face tiredly, the ‘every question answered another two found’ was starting to frazzle his nerves, so what the hell was it doing to Sam? Raguel chipped in. “Fair point, Sam. Maybe that was a ‘first time’ thing? You know, gets easier when you know what you’re doing? Kinda like sex!” The angel’s look of vague embarrassment that he had just likened the receipt of a divine gift to screwing was a joy to behold and Sam and Raphael burst into laughter, shortly to be followed by a blushing Raguel. “Well...” Sam wiped tears from his eyes as they calmed down. Dean was a real fast learner when it came to sex, so that at least should stand him in good stead!” And i really agree with the thought that maybe Dean is already a natural born healer......but why is his gift locked in the first place? is there like some kind of very horrific incident that left him like that? The way Raphe enjoyed his coffee is so reminiscent of Dean doesn't it?? and the way he played peacemaker to Michael and Uri as well...it's as if Michael is John and Uri is Sam....maybe i'm reading too much into it? LOL Can't wait for the next chapter....
Author's Response: Lyn my hunny! oowh I love your reviews because you put so much thought into them. I'm glad Dean's gift feels right to you, I always think he's such a nurturing soul and so used to taking care of Sam and John and everybody's hurts that is is logical that healing would be inside him. I'm going to expolre his 'Gift' more as we go on so hang in there with me. And no you are not reading too much into the characters, I am trying to draw parallels with the Winchesters and the angels and explore their characters through the likeness and contrast. Love this story mate and I think it's getting better and better. Loved the 'bitch', 'jerk' from Uri and Jo, can't wait to see the spark fly when all the others bugger off and leave Uri and the Winchesters alone... ...are there enough bandages in the world I wonder? Great work mate, keep it up!

Bev, Another amazing chapter, loving those angels more all the time. Healing our boy, of course he has to try and take control, wouldn’t be Dean otherwise. Scary Mikey lurking and making plans for Dean. Mikey longing for a corporeal body to again inhabit, lusting for the freedom to feel, touch, defile and torment. He revelled in the power that thrummed unchecked through the hunter’s trembling body; yearning to corrupt it for his own dark purposes and sinful desires. (That sounds just like most of us, what sinful desires, indeed!! lol) Love the vulnerable side of Dean coming through, he shows that to so few. Can’t wait for what you have in store for us. Crystal

I think this is the second review I've done and before the story is finished which is unusual for me. But I just love this Dean hurt and angst - I'm a definite Dean fan and repeat my earlier words -I'm loving this stor. My only gripe is the length between postings. Its always a lovely surprise to check up and discover you've added another chapter. So please keep it up. I want to know where all this heading. I see lots more angst and hurt in story for Dean but with a happy ending although I'm not a fan of Dean/Jo or anyone for that matter coming in between Sam and Dean's brotherhood. You're amazing!

Bev.. I'm a Dean-o-phile so i don't mind the story centering on Dean at all..and i know Sam-o-philes would love this story as well...and whoever minds long chapters?? i don't!! LOL I love the whole interaction between Dean and Raphe...it's slightly like Sam and Dean..and the comparison between Uri and Dean is just quite hilarious for me...don't ask me why. Sometimes i laugh at the wierdest moments..i like how you make Raphe challenge Dean, knowing that only challenges will get through to him and not sympathy.. And the Gift is of healing is it? that is awesome! i always think that Dean has a healer's touch...much like a mum's...and to think that he can heal an angel? wow!!! And Mikey....now that i know there's a connection between him and Dean i understand better why Michael brings up the fear in him...although it confuses me..i'm assuming that Mikey has to be summoned in order to walk the Earth? or can he just travel freely, all of him and not just his mind? Phew, long review! i'll shut up now..can't wait for the next chapter!!

He's wise and wonderful, kinda cool too as he gets the job done without a big fuss. And yeah, Dean and bad boy angel Uriel have lots of common ground but they are both so damned stubborn they find that difficult so see! More of their relationship to follow! I wanted to show how special Dean is and I'm so pleased you see how much of a natural 'healer' he is. Now as to Mikey. I must admit I have been deliberately slightly vague about where/ what he is but you're spot on in that he still has a connection to Dean. Well there are tons of Sam stories on this site, I'm happy to have at least a chapter devoted to Dean. I thoroughly enjoyed this update. Dean the healing hunter is so much awesomeness I can't even handle it. Love love love Dean's confusion with the whole thing and I'm so adoring Raphe and the way he's handling Dean. Was just thinking about this fic today so I'm so glad you updated so I can't wait for more!
