Hi just finished reading both story's i really like them i think it is great to see Dean with a gift of his own i hope you will be carrying on the story i like the angel characters especialy how uriel warms up to dean when sam tries to leave him behind i also like the how you show jo's feelings for dean and his for her without changing who dean is i think its great you write really well and hope you will carry on, i think the relationship between raph and dean is great and cant wait to see how you develop that relationship

Hey Bev, Have just finished a complete reread of this story over the last couple of weeks, and wanted to tell you, not for the first time, how much I love it. I know you are a very busy lady, but I'm sure there is more to this story that you could tell us. Like how does Dean's ability to heal affect the rest of his life? Do the angels remain a regular part of Sam and Dean's life? Will Dean feel pain ever again if Raphe heals him? And as for the mega conversation between Raphe and Dean that you hint at, at the end, I'd love to read it.
Author's Response: Hey Midge. Kind words hunny, I do think that the angels will re emerge one day as I like them as characters and I always wanted to give Dean some 'special' power. So after having read "The Fallen" I was pleased to see that you had written another story with those wonderful angels and that horrible demon. Its took me two days to read this story from my mobile, I enjoyed every word of it and just didn't want to put it down, got kind of annoyed when I had to eat or sleep, lol!!! I loved reading more of the personalities of each of the angels especially Uriel what a cheeky so and so he was but it was lovely see that he wasn't so different to Dean in hiding his softer side under a load of bravado. You were so evil with what you put poor Dean through, but it was all very well written and I am so glad that you put him back together again. I particularly liked everyone banding together around Dean to protect him and mke sure that he was alright. He must have felt very loved and cared for in some way, even if he wouldn't admit it. Oh and bringing Mikey back to possess Michael was quite genius because in a way it gave Dean a chance to face his "demons" excuse the pun and defeat Mikey once and for all with the angels at his side. It was all very interesting reading how Dean's power developed as the story grew and I loved how he described it to Sam and Raphe. I am glad that he had Raphe to guide him and help him with those powers and that Dean actually felt a bond with the angel and opened up to him, I think this was very mature and really helped Dean cope with finding out what he was capable of doing. And boy is he powerful, I never would have imagined what he would be able to do with those powers. Once again putting others before himself and healing them before he even thought to seek help for his own wounds. I wouldn't have expected anything else from him. I am so pleased that after all the pain he experienced throughout with Mikey tormenting him and taking peoples pain as he healed them, that he at least didn't feel any at the end when Raphe was healing him. I liked that you left the story where it was because I like to imagine what they needed to discuss, also it might be cool if you let us know in another story in the future. Oh I have to mention Bobby, Sam and Jo. I loved reading their individual stories and how everything effected them. Sam was wonderfully protective with Dean against the angels and I loved reading him becoming quite fierce with that protectiveness too. Sam's concern for Dean was well written and I really felt his frustrations about what everything could mean for his brother, even hurting him unintentionally was emotional sutff. I really enjoyed this story and again the pacing and descriptions were excellent, thanks for sharing. Ge :o) xx

A wonderful ending! A small cliffhanger at the end because I'm nosy and want to know what they would say to one another after this healing. You describe the energy of Dean and Raphael's healing in such beautiful terms. I felt a peace and tranquility ease me as I read.

Hooray! I hope that finally takes care of Mikey once and for all. (Although his wickedness is sweet to read when he tortures our boys!) So cool that Dean recited different words and those words sent the daemon back to Hades.

But you do know Bev, that there is still more to tell. I'd love to hear to discussion between Raphe and Dean. I'd love to know how his healing talent affects Dean for the rest of his life. This story was absolutely awesome and I shall seriously miss it. I love the arch-angels and would love to see more of them, but with Belial safely back in Hell and Dean getting a handle on his healing talent, I wonder if there is a need for them to remain on Earth. Whatever you decide to write next, rest assured I wil be there to read it.

Bev That was such a lovely ending,the healing and knowing that all would be well for Dean and the Angels...I have always kept an eye out for this story since I joined UnGen and it was one of the first ones I read, so I feel like I have lived it as you wrote it, I loved the evil were-beasts too and the Harley! Did they get to keep the Harley? lol So many thanks for entertaining us, and making Dean whole again of course, (and adding a little Sam angst! lol) As always I would love to hear more, the Raphe and Dean discussion would be quite interesting...but all good things must come to an end. Bev, i am so sad to see your stories end. i wanted this one to keep going. but at last all good things must come to an end. this story had it all pain, suffering, humor, fear, love............... i love the relationship between Dean, Sam, Jo, Bobby and the Angels. you started out having Dean and Uri not liking each other to having a strong friendship and brotherhood form. the relationship between Dean and Raphe was excellent. the bond right off of the bat; the healing power between the 2 combined with friendship and respect. great job. they both can heal me any day. Sam what can i say love the way you had him all protective of Dean no matter what he never failed at making the Angels know he would kick their asses if Dean was injured because of them. and lets not forget Jo torn between Uri and Dean. of course we all know who she will always love. i know must wont agree with me but i wanted him and Jo to hook up the tension these 2 had with each other was great. Uri still blaming himself for Michael being taking by Beliel to begin with. Michael the strong Arch-Angel forgiving him. not wanting him to blame himself anymore. "forgiveness for all" great line. Raguel the constant protector; never failing in his duty keeping to the task at hand.
and last but not least my favorite Uncle, Bobby the way you wrote him the protective uncle the caring father. he would die for these 2. i like in the last chapter him wrapping his arms around Jo protecting her; keeping her safe as well as calming his fears down. so like what he would do. the pain you put Dean through in this story was harsh. the way you wrote these chapters had me wanting to jump in and wrap my arms around him and protect him from you. have said this before and i will keep saying it i love your stories and i am looking forward to another. take care in England may you always know peace and may you and your family be protected and safe. well all I can say is WOW. No wait, there's more. This and The Fallen have kept me glued to my laptop. Dean - the most awesomest divine strongest dude of a hero *sigh*. Wow Bev, that was some chapter! Dean was sooo brave. Loved that everyone was needed to do away with Belail in the end. Good bit of team effort there. But will Dean ever be the same again? The one thing I love is getting to work on a Monday morning and having a SNAA chapter to read to cheer me up! I like the angels need for Dean and Sam's jealously and of course good triumphing over evil. Especially of course I love Dean whumpage...hopefully its healing time but not too quickly as I don't want Dean to lose Raphe's company and Dean bravely suffering is ah.... wonderful... and more selfishly I don't want you to finish this beause then what will I do???????????
Author's Response: Hey Tracy, Umm, I like a bit of Dean whumpage too...not that you'd have ever noticed cause I keep it in check! hee hee! And yes, chapter 27 is all about mending, healing, soothing. But not too quickly cause we all need time to hold Dean in our arms for a while! Well, when I've finished this I've got a one shot that was in a Zine 12 months ago to post and then I have a whole new story with Janger mapped out (much very lovely whumpage!) and some smutty vampyre stuff to do.
