The frustration and bitterness just comes off every verse. There is a real fear here that Sam believes he will become like his Father, driven by revenge and hatred... because in his world, run by his Father, the hunt is ALL. You have some very powerful lines here;
"Drink to your death instead"
John doesn't show emotions to his boys, no tears and maybe his method of coping is the bottle.
Loved the harsh;
"Trash your soul
Leave it to die."
Sam doesn't see his Father in the same heroic light that Dean does.... maybe because he has Dean's loving example as an alternative.
Your poetry is rich in dark images and emotive - Sam's jumble of fear and resentment are laid bare here and give us all a very clear picture of why he felt he had to go. Amazing job!

Good job! I think you managed to convey Sam's feelings. My favourite part is probably the last line: "I tell myself this, but I know it's all a lie"
