With this single moment What if… What if someday one of them dies and I’m not there? Can I ever forgive myself if that happens? I think you captured Sam so perfectly. Thinking that it would be ok when he was at college and realizing it was the worst thing that could happen in many ways. Freaking great work!

This is heartbreaking stuff...poor Sam is just misreading one thing after the other...such a real thing to do...and my heart bleeds for him. Can't wait to read how Dean is going to put him back together again...

symptoms of something much more serious....oh no the stab wound! And i also love how your story deals with Sammy feeling rejected by Dean instead of Dean always feeling rejected by Sammy. It's different, i like it! Poor Sammy:( I'm glad that this is just a flashback because if it was present time I'd feel even worse for Sam. Can't for the next chapt!!!!
