Kinda - he stays in the 'dream' and lives out a long, 'normal' life then dies, but of course in the real world he dies in a few days/hours
Always thought i'd never do death fics but somehow this doesn't quite feel like one

Ah Cal, there you go again with the edgy, unpredictable, sock 'em in the emotional solar-plexus writing!
I love the imagery and the small number of words remind me that Dean's life in the Jinn's thrall would have been a lifetime in but a few short hours, as your story here is an epic in a few short words!
Clever as always, Damn you're good!
And the line that drives it into my heart like the knife in Dean's hand?
"as once green eyes clouded with age stared into space, empty and distant"
Oh those eyes and your words, so beautiful!
