He reached for her and she took comfort in the feel of his callused, slightly sweaty hands, as he easily hauled her through the hole. I love the fact that his hands were slightly sweaty!

He and Dean shared a special bond as brothers, a bond that went beyond family. They had developed a single-minded loyalty, felt secure only in the existence of the other. They were intrinsically joined, the life of one dependent on the other.I loved this...so true!

Whatever state they found Dean in, Sam knew that it would take more than Bobby and himself to heal his brother. It would take the magic of Asher Browning’s unconditional love. It would take her soft arms, gentle words, loving kisses. It would take the peace and safety that he would find only in her delicate caresses and reassurances of love and value to restore his floundering confidence, soothe his tortured mind. She alone would be able to see the savage wounds inflicted on his soul. She alone could offer the solace, which would bring peace to his raw, tender psyche, assuage the guilt and self-recrimination he would inflict upon himself, balm the wretchedness of his despondent spirit. In short, only Asher could make Dean whole again, make him Dean. you see!? this is the ruined dynamic I was talking about! I would really love to read a story of how Sam would've handled the situation! and even if in he eps a girl is present, it's always Sam who picks up the pieces of a broken Dean! eventually he does, because Dean trusts him!

He had chosen Asher. and this...yeah it brings out a whole different things out of the boys, when there is someone else involved but...wouldn't Sam always choose Dean!? and Dean would forgive him in the end...he would be pissed as al hell, but in the end..he would forgive Sam if he wouldn't chose Asher....

okay so..ignore me and I'm off to the next chapter!! Me and Sammy have Dean to save...or by the looks of things..Asher! LOL

Author's Response: Yeah, it's tricky.  There are times that Asher is going to take Sam's place and that really messes up the brother dynamic but I also think that woulod be a struggle in real life.  Brothers who are as close as the Winchesters would have a little turmoil in having their relationship redefined.  Sorry.

Well, you know the Winchester life isn't rainbows and lollipops so Dean and Asher couldn't have the fairy tale relationship. 

I'm glad you liked the part about the baby.  That was one thing most women want and given Dean's recent ordeal, definitely not on his list of priorities.

I think if I finished the series at this point I'd have a few angry friends.  So as long as I have someone to read, I'll write.
