Even when Sam rejects God, he still believes in Him. You've captured a piece of Sam perfectly. And if he studied religion or philosophy at all in college, maybe he'll realize what some modern Hindu saints have tried to teach-that if you can't worship one image of god, worship him/her in the person of someone you love, and it's really the same thing. I love little moments like this in stories. Thank you. Well written.

This is sad.......Achingly sad....i was actually tearing when i read this....i just can't bear to see Dean dead and the boys separated from each other...Sigh....

Author's Response: I know what you mean...Sam's grief would be so deep and so complete, I'm not sure he could come back from it.

This was just beautifully written. I think I cried through the entire reading. Sam's pain was so vivid and emotional that it hurt my heart to read it.

Amazing.

Author's Response:

Thankyou so much.  I feel so much for Sam, having to carry the grief of this loss before it even happens.

Tragically beautiful.

This is a powerful piece of writing, sad and desperate, but very real to watch Sam work through some of the stages of grief before his brother has actually been taken from him.

Wish you'd write the sequel to this, the one where they find a way out of the deal so they can both get back to their lives...Not sure if you do requests though...lol

Great read - Thank you!

This is wonderful.  So much raw powerful emotion, love, anger, and always back to the love they share.  Another great one shot.  Well done indeed!!

I adored "The Whipping Dance" and I love this one just as much. This intense, sad little fic is original and clever!

You have not only captured Sam's love  and desperation, you have captured his passionate nature and brooding intensity. And you captured me with the poignancy and desperation that I felt with every memory, every understanding, every interpretation.

You made me catch my breath with his exceptionally well written little oneshot. Fantastic work!
