LOL I'm a fan of Dark Angel too...and i always thought the heroine and the 'real' hero should be together...hahahaha

Interesting chapter...and yeah Dean should hate all this....too bad John don't wanna watch the movie....make him watch it!!! :)

Author's Response:

Yeah, on Dark Angel, I tried watching season one and just couldn't get too enthused about it.  Funny how obsessive I was about S2.

Glad you enjoyed this chapter and yes, where is Dad when Dean needs him? LOL  'Til next time, B.J.

This is hilarious, and you had me from line one...Poor Dean, having to sit through the whole movie once let alone repeat performances...and I love the way you wrote him 'getting into it'...lol And now he's got to do it all again tomorrow...hah!

And also the Dark Angel ref...just a great chapter...

Author's Response:

Yeah, poor Dean.  He'll learn, be careful what you wish for, but how could the poor boy ever anticipate this... the ultimate chick-flick movie!

And I loved throwing in all the Dark Angel references, great fun for me.  Thanks for reading and reviewing, always appreciated.  Later, B.J.

LOL....i don't really know why, but the thought of Dean watching Titanic makes me smile....especially if he considers it a torture...and maybe you should make him watch it like a dozen times so that he can eithr grow to love it or hate it to the very core....LOL

Can't wait to see what happens next!!

Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing... hmmm, very interesting comment.  I think you should definitely read the next chapter when I post.  Later, B.J.

...missed the boat on that one...grin...

Great update, I'm enjoying this - and could you have picked a more 'chick flick' movie?

Thanks for the read, please update soon!

Author's Response:

Yeah, Dean's going to come to understand that not ALL movies are so great to see on the big screen. LOL

Glad you are enjoying, thanks for reviewing. Later, B. J.

Hahahahahaha....Titanic? So not what i was expecting at the end....good twist though...can't wait to see what happens next...

Author's Response: Thanks.  Funny where stories come from... just that question of how Dean was so familiar with the movie and here we go.  Glad you enjoyed.  Later, B.J.

"Yeah?"  Dean tentatively looked up from beneath long, lush lashes, his gaze dark and distant beneath hooded eyes.  The angelic beauty of his face masking the heart of a hunter"

BJ - I love this description of Dean's unequivocal beauty, it captures his youth and vulnerability so well.

"John smiled, warm and tender, as his open palm again gently touched the side of Dean's face along his jawline. "

And this is so touching, Older John (series John) is too damaged to offer such simple and craved comfort and Dean; too damaged to seek it, though his battered soul cries out for it. It is the gentle loving gesture of a parent something that John can rarely allow himself the luxury of being. Nicely written.

And I'm intrigued to hear more so write it please!

Bev x

Author's Response:

Oh, thanks, Bev.  What a lovely review.  That is what is so nice about writing preseries... seeing Dean still needing his dad and John being there for him. So many complicated emotions for these Winchesters.

Being a teenager is such a fragile place, especially for Dean, considered a man, but (even now in so many ways) still a child looking for that support he so desperately needs.

I hope to give us a fun, humorous, but still real and insightful look into the early years. Thanks so much, until next time, B.J.

Very unexpected and very funny...you had me going all the way with this one. As I was reading I couldn't help but imagine all the horrors that Dean may be about to face but I never once guessed this...Great job - just what we've all come to expect from you.

Author's Response:

Hey, thanks so much!  Yeah, this is more along my norm and what I'm more comfortable writing.

My other story is stressing me out big time, so I thought I'd revisit this one, finish it out, and get to enjoy some of Dean's humor.  Thanks for reading and reviewing.  Take care, B.J.
