....uh oh...that cant be good...

Author's Response: Yep, Dean is going to be tested by this gig.  I hope you enjoy the rest.  This story was great fun to write.  I love the teen Winchesters.  Take care, B.J.

Dean lost for words? I mean... Dean. Dean Winchester. The goofy always-has-a-comeback joker who never lets his brother get the better of him. That Dean?

Author's Response: Hey, he's human and I love exploring that.  Remember he is under a lot of stress and he is still young, but he is Dean and he will overcome.  Later, B.J.

Hee hee hee!!!

Chick flick moments aplenty!!!

Now we know why he hates them so much. I guess this scarred him emotionally for life.

Iceberg - 10, Titanic - 0, Dean Winchester - negative infinity.

Author's Response: Dean has many hidden scars, and this is just one of them. Stay tuned to see how the battle comes out. Take care, B.J.

Dean Winchester - watching Titanic.

Never thought I would hear myself say that setence.

Author's Response:

Exactly, which is where this story came from!  Just how in the world did Dean Winchester ever watch and further know the dialogue of Titanic?  We'll find out.

Later, B.J.

What happened to 'no chick flicks'?

LOL at Dean!!!

Author's Response:

Yeah, I had him quoting the lines from Titanic in another story and several questioned how he would have ever watched that movie... well this is the backstory and it ain't pretty.  LOL

LOL Love the ending!!!

As John and Sam walked out of the theater, John grumbled to himself, "I never got out of watching the chick-flick movie and I even married the girl!"

Damn, if my son isn't velvety smooth.

LOL This is so funny....i can't imagine John watching chick-flick movies!!!

Author's Response:

Thanks so much for reading and reviewing all the way.

I am soooo pleased you liked the last lines.  I always want the ending to be worth the journey.  Yeah, kind of a different look at John, but he did love Mary and I liked being able to have a lighter side of him for once.

Take care, B.J.

Oh, one more thing, I liked the dig at Jensen's soap opera past. Okay, now I have to go read Famous Last Lines!

Author's Response:

I had a lot of fun in this story, poking fun at a lot of movies and pop culture references.  Since Jensen has been quoted as saying he doesn't mind playing the fool, I hope he doesn't mind some teasing from me.

Obviously he and SMG are two soap actors that went on to stellar action hero roles and do them brilliantly.  It was just great fun to mock the genre.

Thanks again, B.J.

Have to admit I didn't care for this one until we knew for sure Dean was possessed (3/4 of the way thru?). I enjoyed the bantering and playing between the boys. Did not believe that Dean would actually have talked so openly about his sex life in front of his dad, considering how he grew up thinking of his dad as more of a drill sargeant than a buddy he could comfrotably do that around (I think it was more likely that he kept his lovelife secret from his father, done while John was away). And I liked the bonding moment with John and Sammy and then Dean joining them.

Author's Response:

Hey, interesting take.  I never thought about Dean hiding his love life from his dad, Sam certainly knew all about it and John always treated Dean as older than he was.

I guess I always saw him as more of a soldier and guys do talk about stuff like that.  If John was gonna have him risk his life at sixteen hunting evil I just assumed he'd want him to enjoy whatever downtime he could too.

These Winchesters are so very complicated and they don't give us all the info so it is interesting to see how different viewers see them.

I am glad you read the entire story and did like the bonding at the end.  I just liked putting a different spin on their early years and having some fun with that.

Thanks for your comments.  Take care, B.J.

Loved this whole story BJ, the brotherly teasing, the emo, Dean's acting ability...lol and all the references to pop culture and some of the best movies out there...great work mate...XX Louy

Author's Response: How did I miss answering this?  Thanks, Louy, for all the support thruout this story.  I loved having fun with all the pop culture references and exloring the bantering and the brothers just being brothers.  Take care, B.J.

great chapter,i enjoyed that,it's nice to see them happy.

Author's Response: Thanks for R & R'ing.  Yeah, this started out as a humor fic and then everything else got in the way.  Lots of humor and family bonding in the final chapter.  Take care, B.J.

"About some Fed trying to figure out where the bad guy planted a bomb that's gonna destroy LA.  Something about they switch faces so he can impersonate the guy."

"What, like a shapeshifter?"

"No, like science, Dean.  They do an operation to change one guy to look like the other."

"Yeah, like a shapeshifter," Dean reiterated.

"Yeah, whatever."

LOL this is so funny...even in action flicks Dean manage to think of the supernatural aspects.. shapeshifter!!

The talk between John and Dean.. at least John apologize!!

Author's Response:

Yeah, that's Dean!  I think he'd really appreciate the wild action and fun of Face/Off.  Just his kind of flick.

I love exploring John and yeah, letting him apologize in his own way.

Take care, B.J.

Awe BJ you did it again...so many killer lines in this chapter, especially...'John's heart swelled as he watched his sons... brothers, always protecting each other.  At least I did that right... somehow.'

...that just got to me. And I loved the whole chat between John and Dean, about time he got an apology! And I was wondering how Dean would respond to a plane crash movie...hehehe. Yep, 'Face Off' is a safer choice I think...

Great work !

Author's Response:

Thanks again, Louy,

I gotta say I am loving writing this story.  I love examining the complexities of their relationships and then adding in the fun of their humor.  I love writing John, loving but not always right, and so often I think with Dean a bit clueless and pre-occupied.

Yeah, Dean and planes.... wonder where it all started?

When you were writing about the part of Sam confessing to Dean about his 'mistake', my mind flashed back to the scene in Faith where Sam apologised to Dean in the motel after Dean visited Roy and Sam visited the pool area where the guy died. The way it is played out is really similar to the scene that you were writing, and i thought it's very believable that Sam would react like that. :)

Author's Response:

Wow, very interesting.  I didn't intend that but it is true, Sam is sorry for messing up and he only wants Dean's forgiveness, as always.

These characters are so richly defined by the show and I do think their early years mimic their later reactions.

Thanks for reading and reviewing.  Take care, B.J.

awww, that was a lovely chapter.looking forward to more.

Awesome chapter and beautiful description of the broken and invaded Dean needing to get clean after his possession. Loved Sam's pov and how he just wants his brother to shout at him.

Great work bj, another fantastic chapter!

Author's Response:

Thanks, Louy,

Yeah, poor Dean feeling the effects of this possession.  He still has to face Dad in the next chapter and then the last chapter will offer a little relief and hopefully a few laughs.  Later, B.J.

great update,i enjoyed that, felt a bit sorry for jackson.

Author's Response: At least Jackson has Rosanna now and they can both move on.  Thanks for reading and reviewing, much appreciated.  Take care, B.J.

Reviewer: mymuseandi (Signed) · Date: 20/03/08 09:17 AM · On: Chapter 11 - The Exorcist

I got an inkling that Jackson wouldn't want to get out of Dean's body easily...i mean, who in their right mind would want to let go of Dean's body once they have a piece of it??? LOL

"I bet your brother is more than adequately endowed.  I'm sure you can understand, the spirit's been willing, but until now...," Dean's eyebrows quirked up in that comical manner that was so close to the real Dean, yet not; and he grinned, his dimples deepening as his eyes glanced downward in amusement, "I was missing the fundamental equipment."

I was practically rolling on the floor laughing when i was reading this part.... i can't get over the whole 'fundamental equipment' joke....hahahahaha..

Love this story very much...it's ending soon right?? sigh...bittersweet..

Author's Response:

Glad you are still enjoying it.  It was nice to finally get some more humor back amid the angst.

Yeah, this story is a total of 14 chapters so three more.  I'm just firming them up, they are mostly written.  We still have to have those brotherly moments and then Dad has to come back and find out the truth.  You know, all the fallout from the hunt.

Then it will be sadly over and I'll be forced to continue writing my Evil story.

Take care, B.J.

I know they were technically the bad guys and all but I liked Jackson and Rosanna and I feel quite sorry for them.

Great characters and fantastic exorcism, and good work from Sam tricking him into drinking from Dean's flask!

Lovely work...

Author's Response:

Thanks!  I'm glad you liked J & R, me too.  Jackson reminded me of IMTOD when the reaper told Dean what would happen to him if he refused to die and move on.  He was just stuck in a bad situation, poor guy.

Take care, B.J.

Reviewer: bulletbabe (Signed) · Date: 20/03/08 04:47 AM · On: Chapter 10 - Love Story

This was SOOOO sad and just lovely...

This line had me tearing up, and the thought that Dean could feel it too was eerie...

'Sam closed the journal and watched as a single tear rolled down his brother's face illuminated by the safety light mounted on the wall beside him.  He gasped from the sight of Dean crying.  He had never before seen Dean shed a tear.  Not once.  Even though he knew it wasn't his brother's tear, it tore into his heart to think of the anguish that moved this spirit to tears and he wondered if his brother could somehow feel it too. '

Great job, moving on...

Author's Response:

Thanks again.  Yeah, Jackson's story is so sad, but Sam's compassion is going to get them in trouble.  It is why it is so hard to be angry at Jackson, what a tragedy.

that was a lovely chapter,i enjoyed that, looking forward to more.

Author's Response:

Thanks so much!  I gotta say, I am loving writing this story.  I just enjoy being able to weave all the elements into a story, the humor and drama, a little love and mystery, and then finding out a few more insights into these younger Winchesters.  And poking some fun at an institution like Titanic and other popular themes just adds to the pleasure.

Take care, B.J.

Reviewer: mymuseandi (Signed) · Date: 11/03/08 03:49 AM · On: Chapter 10 - Love Story

Love the idea of Dean performing! And thank god Sam was quick to improvise...at least they managed to bring both spirits peace, instead of just getting rid of the spirit... hopefully Sam would be able to exorcise Jackson out of Dean!

Author's Response:

Wouldn't we love to witness Dean acting out a tender love scene?  And of course, even at fourteen, Sammy would be independent enough to think he knew a better way to go and not follow the plan.

Glad you are enjoying.  Thanks for reveiwing, B.J.

what could possibly go wrong said sam, with the winchesters everything.great update, can't wait to find out what happens.

Author's Response: Yeah, with the Winchesters, it's always something!  Glad you are enjoying.  Take care, B.J.

Reviewer: mymuseandi (Signed) · Date: 07/03/08 04:09 AM · On: Chapter 9 - The Master Plan

The last line always gets me... whenever they say what could possibly go wrong, things will ALWAYS go wrong!!! i'll be peeking my eyes from behind my hands when i'd read the next chapter.... LOL

Author's Response:

Hey, these are Winchesters... it is the story of their lives, what goes wrong.  But John said this was just a simple job, and Daddy Winchester is never wrong, is he?

Glad you are still reading and enjoying.  Thanks for reviewing, B.J.
