The description of the cave gave me the creeps. Sam and Oscar're trapped in the cave, Dean is badly injured and the Black Annis is out there...not good at all. Thank goodness Bobby is there but Peg and Floss had the upper hand, they're going with him, lol. So intense, can't wait to know what'll happen next.

Author's Response: Man I"m glad the cave creeped you out, it's always nice to find out the descriptions worked.  Things aren't looking good for the boys, but no worries, their Winchesters ;)

Wow, talk about Clash of the Titans, Bobby V Peg and Floss, and I think Bobby just came off worse!!...lol.  It's great to see Bobby enter the arena, this could just be a match made in heaven.

This is just so tense and exciting, poor Dean nearly out of the action, Sammy floundering in the dark looking for another exit and just where has that Black Annis got to??  I'm so pleased Oscar's still hanging in there.

That lair was just so horribly well described, it had my skin crawling.  Sam wrapping the baby was just so sweet.  Another superb update, looking forward to the next one.  Thanks. Jane

Author's Response: LOL, yeah some cage match eh... The boys are hurting that's for sure, So glad you're enjoying and that you felt the cave was well described.  Thanks for the review and the stars - Kel

Bobby's got his hands full - those two may be more to handle than the Annis - ha - poor Dean could use him though, huh?  Like the image of Sam being surprised at picking up Oscar.  Nice chapter, enjoying the tale - Angela

Author's Response:

Glad you're enjoying, Angela.  I'm thinking we're nearly at the end now.  Thanks as always for the review ;)

really enjoying this story and new to the site so having to remember my manners and not keep demanding more more. I love the sisters - think when this is over they should open a 'roadhouse'.

Thanks for the stories (just starting the sara series) My family also conspire to drag me away from the computer.

Thanks again

Awesome! Still loving this story. Yay, Bobby is to the rescue.... oh well - and Floss and Peg! You had me cracking up once again about these two ladies. Can't wait to see how they will get the boys and the baby out of their troubles!

Author's Response: Yeah, gotta love Bobby.  He might have finally met his match in Floss and Peg.  All's well as long as Floss doesn't try and marry him, all of her boyfriends seem to be shortlived ;)  Thanks as always for the review and the stars

An action one, very exciting, loved it! And what a flasback, thought my heart would stop.

(The Black Annis - I'm now absolutely sure she is related to one of my superiors, her sister I would guess, she even looks like her!)

Really hope, you will update before the weekend, have to know how this continues!

Author's Response: hm... so you've found yourself a hag, huh.  lol.  Hopefully she doesn't eat small children.  I'll post as quickly as I can. - Kel

Great work Kel...can't wait for the next update.

Author's Response: hehehe, I know that was such a classy line right...I seriously have never seen the movie, though I did check online to make sure it exsists...glad you enjoyed - Kel

Great update. Oh dear, trouble found the Winchesters again...    Some really great lines in this chapter. In fact, Sam had little doubt that his brother would confront the old crone with little more than a tooth brush if Sam thought it would be effective. - this one had me cracking up. Looking forward to more - as always :)

Author's Response: Ah, Dagmar and stars too how sweet.  Glad you're enjoying and hopefully I'll get you another chapter sunday or monday.  Hopefully all is well ;)  Take care - Kel

Reviewer: fredo (Signed) · Date: 16/04/08 01:52 AM · On: Chapter 9

awesome chapter, even better after a second read. Several funny lines i could quote, but my favorite is finally not funny, just beautiful,

Often, when faced with fears larger than he was sure he could handle, Sam would think back to that one moment in time.  Though, it wasn't the last time Dean had offered up his life in exchange for Sam's, it was the first that Sam could remember.  The site of his brother, kneeling there in the dirt would always be the image that straightened Sam's spine in defiance.  Sam returned to the present, determined to live up to his brother's example.

Thanks for the terrific read.

Author's Response: Thank you...for your encouragment (uh, nagging...lol)  You always keep  me moving forward ;)

You had me howling Kel! And I read this chapter at work! There were so many funny lines:

"Regardless of what you think, Sam, you're not out of the woods yet."

Sam, unable to resist, gestured to the surrounding forest and grinned.

and this one!

He had to admit, in later years he'd found the tale of Snow and her dwarves to be much more interesting when watched on the Skin-a-max channel.  At least then the dwarves had reason to whistle while they worked.

I love how you are able to seamlessly weave glimpses of their past into the storyline. You've got me on tenterhooks with this ending. Can't wait to see what's next!

Author's Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed the flashback, i was hesitant to add it in feeling it wasn't as relevant as I felt it was, but a good friend convinced me to keep it in.  I'm happy to see she was right (she always is...lol)  Thanks for the wonderful review and I'll hopefully post today or tomorrow - Kel

Whoooo! Gun-totin grannies!? Kick-ass sisters with an attitude! I can't wait to find out how Peg and Flossy save the boys!

--c

Author's Response: LOL, yeah well those sisters protect their own, that's for sure.  And I"m pretty certain that they now consider the boys theirs...Glad to see you're still reading and I'm working as we speak on the next chappy - Kel

Oh my, this was my favorite line:

Despite the futility of it all, Dean kept going.  After all, he was nothing if not his father's son.

You paint such a vivid picture with your words. I'm really enjoying this.

Author's Response: Thanks for such a great compliment, glad you like :)

Heh heh heh, i had the funniest vision in my mind when i read this:

For some reason Dean had no trouble imagining Peg down here in the basement wielding a cleaver as she beheaded the family chickens.

Kel, I'm loving this story, can't wait to see where it goes from here! Poor Sam.

-- cricket

Author's Response:

Gotta admit the whole, killing chickens things comes from my mom's story's of her Italian Grandmother preparing for their big sit down Sunday dinners.. As for myself, I like my chicken, all neatly wrapped up in plastic wrap preferably with the name Perdue on it ....lol.  Glad to see you're still enjoying - Kel

Reviewer: CricketBee (Signed) · Date: 11/04/08 12:37 AM · On: Chapter 1

Oh Kel, this line had me rolling in laughter (down the cubicle aisles at work no less):

To put it bluntly Dean was basically as a big a ho for food as he was for women,

Author's Response: Now Cricket I don't wanna be responsible for you getting booted from work so hold the laughing to a minimum  ;)
