I'm really starting to not like Charlie, leaving those poor defenceless boys alone in the woods - well nearly defenceless. "Not far, you cunningly found a short cut," what an excellent line, wonderful flashes of humour amidst the scary situration that has just got a whole heap scarier!! I was just getting nice and comfortable in that cosy cabin snugggled up with the Winchesters bros when you had to let that bloody Polar Bear back in....lol Please don't keep us waiting too long for the next one - I really need know what's happened. Great update. Jane
Author's Response: Thank you so much, Jane! You will really start hating Charlie in a chapter or two, promise! It's funny sometimes when I am writing one or the other of the boys just say something like the "cunning" line. Love when they do that. More very soon!

Oh No, so not good, poor Dean, poisoned, wounded and unconscious in the snow with a deranged, injured Polar Bear on the prowl. You really know how to start a good story!! Scary on so many levels. I'm feeling the boys have been set up big time here, Charlie sounded nice but maybe he was not so forgiving about the hunt that went wrong!! I didn't like the sound of that dodgy water either. I loved Deans self dialogue on the helicopter journey, what a lovely way to start his day with a hangover, John Denver and flying.....Wonderful stuff, I must go and read the next one. Jane

Ok... you got my attention with this chapter. First of all, I don't trust Charlie. He lost too much because of John. A little too convenient that Dean starts to feel woozy after drinking something Charlie gives him. The bear going sraight for Dean, just pushing Sam aside...????? You have painted a vivid picture - the tnesion is already on max high-GREAT JOB!!!!! OUTSTANDING!!!!!! More please BRAVO!!!!!
