OK ... this is a GREAT!!!!!!!! story. I so want to beat the tar out of Charlie- but I think Sam is already at that point. A steel tone in Sam's voice- Charlie has forgotten Sam is a Winchester-no forgiveness when you hurt one of them. OUTSTANDING writing-so visually complete and the action doesn't stop. The bond between Dean and Sam- that is the weapon all these bad asses never get-nothing can defeat that. EXCELLENT work!!!!!!! BRAVO!!!!!!!! More please.

OK, so Sam now knows it's a Tupilak, so hopefully he can sort that one out - then all we have to worry about is the blindness, pending deafness, multiple injuries, siezures, imminent death, being stranded in a cabin in the middle of nowhere, in a snowstorm, with the only radio contact to a homicidal maniac - it's not surprising that there's a touch of fear in Dean's voice!! I know you'll rescue our boys though, so I guess it's Charlie who should be worried.....lol Wonderful dialogue, trying to keep the fear and panic at bay, Winchester style, I just loved those 'flippers of death' on the demon seals. Great update, so looking forward to the next one. Jane

I'm sitting here shivering thinking of those poor boys in that freeing cold cabin, with just garbage sacks and duct tape holding back the elements - not to mention that Demon Bear. Poor Dean, mauled, dragged, dropped, poisoned and now blinded, yet he's still managing the Star Wars refs and trying to make Sam feel better. Well, at least the poison seems to be holding some of his pain back at the moment. I love your changes in pace, from total mind-blowing panic, to reminiscing, huddled under the quilt in front of the fire but there's still the underlying tension and the feeling that time may be running out for our Dean......
