Hilarious! What a perfect way to showcase the brotherly love of the Winchesters! Wow---30 seems old, somehow. Like they should be settled with wives and kids.
Author's Response: That's kinda Dean's tragedy, though, isn't it? Still, glad you liked the story!

I love your 'snapshots!'
The writing is so neat and spare, yet evocative and full of the energy and emotion of 'the moment.'
Dean LIVES! (Or what's the point?!)
S.
Author's Response: Thanks very much! I'm so glad you like them. And yeah, in all my 'verses', Dean lives. Not even during "All Hell" did it occur to me that Sam wouldn't save him.

Just lovely irnan, keep popping them out! I'm entirely with you on the deal-breaker, can't really live with any other notion (I know, they're not REAL! hee!), so this little drabble fills me with hope. Well done!
Author's Response: If 'they' have anything to say about it, I will ;) Thanks for the review!

Memories and siblings definitely belong in the same sentence. This is really great! Extremely sweet and funny but still little sad (Sam regretting all missed times). The ending was brilliant too: ""Go back to sleep, Sammy," Dean said, trying to sound irritated." Yeah, sure Dean was trying. But just trying because he really wasn't.
Author's Response: Oh, don't they just. Sometimes Sam really needs a slap in the face to realise certain things - especially where Dean's concerned. The infamous deal is a pretty big one, Ï reckon. Thanks for the review

Dean getting to thirty will give us all reason to be cheerful! You pack so much into so few words - I love the regret and the hope and the little insights into their past. Thanks again for a really good read. - Kirsty
Author's Response: Thank you for the review! I simply cannot even for a moment entertain the idea that Sam won't save Dean. It just can't happen.

Lmao. That was hilarious and unexpected. lmao. and how come deans 30, he's supposed to be 29. lmao.
Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed it! Yes, I know how old Dean is... in the present.

I thought that was what it was, a brthday wish. I know on one of my birthday, I will not name which one, I got up at 1:19AM to look into a mirror to watch myself turn ? years old. Have not done it since, but still have the memory of it. Happy Birthday Dean
Author's Response: I just thought a young Sam would have been delighted to be the first one to tell his big brother "Happy Birthday" every year, and that as an adult it would be a kind of promise he makes to himself: never to take Dean for granted again. Glad you liked the story, thanks for the review!

Hahahahah loved it! And drabbles are so hard as so few words!! (just posted my first ever so I know!) I'd love to 'feel the scorching heat of Dean's glare' umm yeah! Thanks Hun sweet! bev x
Author's Response: Hey Bev! You're welcome to Dean's glare, my dear. He can get a bit scary when he's angry. I think drabbles are becoming my favourite form to write in, they just pop up and out without my really doing anything... thanks for the review!

lol, too sweet, and so glad to see Dean at 30...you keep writing we'll keep reading ;)
Author's Response: Thanks very much! I'd hate to stop, but it does feel a bit like an unhealthy obsession sometimes ;)

Very nice, liked thia a lot. I love all those little private moments that show the guys as being 'normal' after all - just big kids at heart. Great job...
Author's Response: Thanks! I think that once Sam manages to get Dean out of his deal (there's no doubt in my mind that he will) they'll relax, unwind, start to mess about and enjoy life again. One way to do that would certainly be to 'regress' to the age of fifteen or so!

Very funny and very sweet!!! Always love reading your work Lara;) Schelz
Author's Response: Thanks Schelz! It's so nice to know I have a loyal fan base ;) No, really, I do appreciate it.

Fun, wicked, poignant, private, cute...All the Winchester elements I love. Despite a lifetime of instability, you have given them an element of stability - a tradition that's theirs alone. "I don't care. It's my tradition" I love it!! And Dean got to thirty?! Fantastic - you were serious about that deal breaker! I'm sure happy for you to just keep poppin' these ficlets out...
Author's Response: I'll wait a while before I make the appointment at the shrink's, then... Of course I was serious! I only read death fics by accident, and I could never write one. Thanks for the review!
