I've been waiting eagerly for this update and I was so happy to see it here this morning...and it was well worth the wait.

Loved that image of Dean and Kerri lying next to each other that you brought through from the last chapter...it's such a beautiful idea and it's gotta be one of my all time favourite scenes...and the plot is thickening nicelly...!

...you've got me at the edge of my seat waiting for the next one so please don't take too long...!

Maggie, oh, my god, that moment on the bed when Dean takes Kerri into his arms was wonderful.  though I have no interest in the two of them together romantically, the idea of them drawing comfort from each other was perfect.  Great update and I look forward to more - Kel

What a poignant chapter. One of my favorite moment is Dean in bed with Kerri, Dean is so tender with her.I'm so glad that she opened up to Dean and told him what happened that day. Who's that Steven guy, so intriguing, can't wait to know more about him. Awesome work with this chapter Maggie. I'm lookling forward for more.

Wonderful update Maggie, well worth the wait! The description of the "bad guy" was awesome and so detailed. You made one feel Kerri's fear - it was so real. I loved protective Dean, but Kerris is right:“You’re not always gonna be here, Dean.” Dean couldn’t answer, hell, at that moment he couldn’t even breath. She was right,.....

Loved every line of it and I am looking forward to the next chapter. Thanks :)

What an update...not only have you thought up and developed one of the most original and terrifying bad guy I've read in a long time but that whole scene with Dean and Kerri on the bed talking took my breath away.

I love the way you've developed this relationship from day one, transceding sex or physical attraction (quite something for Dean) and focusing instead on the deeper love that Dean is so capable of...and that he displays all the time with family.

Great update - worth the wait!

I know I keep saying it but I just love the relationship you've developed between Kerri and the boys, and how lucky that they are there now to be able to look after her.

And if anyone deserves a bit of looking after it's her...you've kind of put her through it a bit in previous stories...lol

Wow - great chap - and more new characters! I love the way you are fleshing out the Kerriverse. I'm hoping that Dean will stop feeling guilty about the painting now (haha - fat chance). Dean is seriously in angst mode and looks to be heading for a crash.... Can't wait to see Dean in serious mother hen mode....assuming he hasn't made himself sick by then....

Oh man!!! Serious Dean angst a comin'!!! He is totally gonna beat himself up over this.... Love the addition of Tim to the Kerriverse. Great, the follow-up of Not All It seems. OMG!What a start, Kerri is in big trouble. How "Steven" can act like a vampire, spirit or demon and to be an human, very captivating. Can't wait for more.
