Love it when world mythologies are used. Never liked critters that are made up whole cloth by the writer. Even the supernatural has its own rules and laws of physics. Thanks for such a good story. (Sam in jeopardy stories are my favorites, too, of course! A two for one!) Thanks.

Loved it!!! You are an excellent writer. I didn't think it was weird at all. A very well thought out story. Once I started reading it, I couldn't stop until I finished it. I want to read more of your stories.

I am just thrilled with the way it turned out and I love the mythology that developed. I think I will try something like this again sometime!

Great job! You did an amazing job with this story, and all of the parts pertaining to or describing the ritual really feel like they are taking place in an ancient, more magical time period. So much so that I was startled when Sam woke up and started driving the Impala through the ordinary world!

Wow - I love this, although Dean's assessment that this could be less than freaking brillant is likely dead on, hopefully not in the literal sense. Dean's internal arguement between saving Sam and the ritual voice of the hunt is beautiful done, a slide into unreality... Lovely chapter!

Wow, what an amazing chapter! Your descriptions are so vivid, I can picture everything in my head! I especially love your representation of Sam's interaction with the horses, they're so realistic but so creepy since those horses are skeletal! And your description of what Sam feels and how he shifts between being himself and being the next king is amazing, the joy and fear both existing - and fighting - in him at the same time! And I held my breath when they were at the altar, I was praying that he'd manage to stop himself from killing the king, but then someone - the priestess perhaps? - pushed him and made him do it anyway - almost made me scream! And Dean being there and holding him in his arms when he finally 'fades' *sniff* - so heartbreaking!!! Can't wait to see how Dean manages to get them out of this - especially since he's now also starting to become one of the hunt. Eagerly awaiting the next chapter! Love, abni
