You have drawn me into this tale. That was a great opening...left me wanting to find out who? what? when? We already know the hunter. Great!

Author's Response:

I added three girls. Any of them could be the one whose brother died. :-D  Even though it is only one of them, the other two have very important parts.

So very glad that you liked it!  The opening was inspired by a friend leaving a writing group that I'm in and too much SPN LOL

Thank you for your review, I enjoy hearing that my crazy ideas make sense to others

Too funny!  I loved this chapter!  The dialog and characters are so much like my daughter and her friends (except the gaymate is usually more toughy-feely).  I laughed the entire time I read this!

Author's Response:

*nods* So glad that you liked this chapter. I was quite proud of the dialog myself.  Truth is I based it off of how a friend of mine, a fellow ff writer, speak with each other. I noticed that I joked around with her differently than I do with a few of my other friends and I wanted that rapport for these two characters. As for the gaymate, I don't have any gay male friends. A few female ones and the touchy-feeliness varies per person.  For Jake I was channeling Lorne from the Angel verse and the fact that I find the calling of people food endearments funny lol

And I say Yay Me! For making you laugh.  That's the best thing, either making someone laugh or making them cry lol  Means the story effected them in some little way.

:-D

Thank you again and I have the next chapter ready, and should have it out soon :-) Happy Holidays!

Very colorful and whimsical, like a painting or a poem.  A beautiful beginning!  The joy and mystery and foreboding all mix wonderfully well to make me yearn for more!

Author's Response: Thank you! *blush* Glad to know that my intentions were made clear. I wanted that ethereal feeling that I always thought went with all rituals and prayers, whether Wiccan or Catholic or something else.  But I also wanted that sense of loss there.  *BG* Glad to know that worked out and I have ya yearning for more. Just what I want to hear!
