Spin off wildebeest series? I'd read it...lol Gotta say, you absolutely nailed this one for me. You've climbed inside Dean's head and sorted through it all...and his idea of eternal hell being an everlasting emotionaly charged conversation is priceless. Voices are just perfect...and you have a great ability at making your writing very readable and flowing...awesome and I'm looking out for more from you already.

grat story! i loved Sam's reason for why he's changed, cuz he needs every minute to save Dean...perfect reason!!! i really don't wanna believe that our Sammy is somehow not 100% himself cuz that be sad:(...ne ways good job with this story! and i loved the last line...veryy deep:)

I have no clue about the wildebeest, but it's an awesome image anyway! I really enjoyed this first chapter Birdy. It had terrific brotherly interactions, and this cracker of a line: Now he can combine up to 7 different but equally disapproving expressions in just one look. Impressive. Looking forward to more!

Congratulations on a great first chapter, and your first fanfiction here. I now have wildebeest migrations and marhmellows stuck in my head for the day - but your story made me chuckle, so it's all good. Loved the view from inside Dean's head, it is very close to what I imagine goes on behind those beautiful green eyes. This was just so satisfying - am waiting on the next chapter, just to see what can top wildebeest's in clogs and mating lemeurs !!!!

I really enjoyed reading this one. Very well written. I always love a hurting Dean *blushes* Concerning wildebeests, it says in Wikipedia: "The seasonal nature of the African grasslands forces wildebeest to make annual migrations. The main migration is in May, when around 1.5 million animals move from the plains to the woods; they return in November as summer rains water the plains. " So, yeah, wildebeests seem to migrate. Like Dean I prefer them not to do it in my head, though ;-)

Well, there's nothing better than a healthy portion of hurt Dean and caring, bitching Sam.... This hits all the right spots, you had me flinching when that shoulder 'pops' back into place.
