Oh, Helen. This chapter . . . this chapter was just superb. Sam's line “There’s no such thing as miracles,” for whatever reason made my breath hitch for a moment. And then when you got to the trach and no cognitive brain function (and Sam fearing he brought back a shell)--man, my eyes just teared right up. And that was BEFORE Sam broke down sobbing. I nearly joined him. And THEN I got to the blonde at the end and just wanted to crush HER in the palm of MY hand for messing with the boys. Awesome chapter, my friend.

what do you mean that Dean making the deal is actually some part of a master plan that the demons had put out for the Winchesters?? kinda like they are trying to get all the Winchesters into Hell, and that since they had John they wanted Dean to join as well so that Sam would willingly follow them??? *deep breaths* Sorry, that was all said in one breath..is the next one the last chapter??
Author's Response: Here's my thinking. For Sam to be able to lead the demon army, he had to die and go to hell. That means the only way out is for someone to make a deal to save him. Had John not done it for Dean, he would have had to do it for Sam since Dean would have been dead. I somehow wrote myself into a corner with that little detail and that's how I got myself out. Sorry if it was confusing or depressing. (See, rambling...yikes) I thought the next one would be the last, but I was wrong...sorry to say.

You can kill off whomever you want as long as you bring them back somehow. A dead Winchester is great for any story and this chapter had me on the edge of my seat!
Author's Response: I do have a strange way of killing Dean and bringing him back, or leaving him near death on numerous occasions. Must be something wrong with me. Have no fear though, I'd never leave him dead for long...I couldn't to that.

Author's Response: I had planned on explaining the final blonde woman in chapter 21 but it was way too long so I guess she waits until 22. I am so glad that you still find it interesting and I really hope you enjoy the rest. As for a sequel... maybe after the I See Dead People one is started and complete. (Yes, there's already a sequel in the works for that and that damn story isn't even done yet) What can I say... I'm a glutton for punishment.

Ohh, the bargain for souls, this was grand!! A timeless battlefield and two worthy opponents, great description of Gabriel and Naamah and sure a hearbeat-fight! Glad Sam passed out and didn't have to see all of it, don't think he could take any more right now. Also loved the solution for the chosen kids, always was so sorry especially for Andy and Ava, so I really welcome the idea they were part of the deal, thanks for this.

That was great, the demon and Gabriel talking about Dean and Sam fate while the doctors tried to revive Dean and Sam unconscious. Very fitting to what's going to happen later at Cold Oak. Only one chapter to go, can't wait to know how the end of your captivating story Strigo.

Interesting deviation from your norm. I liked how you had Dean crashing and and being resuscitated by the docs as 'background chatter' while that wicked demon witch was making a deal to save him. But now the poor guy can't breathe and Sam's a wet noodle. Are you sure this is over in one more?
