Oh boy, this one has an echo of sadness that resonates all through it. Dean's promises so not negotiable, both given and received, I can only hope and pray that John made it back... You reflected Dean's desperation under his snark beautifully, and I found myself only half smiling at his wit because of this underlying desperation and sadness, like he half expects that John will let Sam down and that it will be up to him to go into damage control. Sam's total faith in Dean hammers this home. Very poignant.

This just rocks, Merrie! Loved how John hung back, listening...you nailed his reactions from amusement to shock and back again. I can just hear John's voice and see his face as he eavesdropped on his sons' cute conversation. You are the genius of creating a scene and filling it with emotion with just dialogue and no other description. Brilliant stuff! Thanks heaps for taking up my suggestion and producing this wonderful work so quickly, *applause* I'm thrilled with it. I'm madly in love with both of your pov series.

Awesome! You are spot on, so true to their characters.I can just hear the tone in their voices. Sam's enthusiasm and Dean's patience despite his annoyance! Loved the line "Might as well hang up a sign saying "Open House - Kill what you can", you nailed Dean's snark with precision here! Not to mention how funny!!! You are the queen of these little themed series!

Two cunning, fast thinking hunters, verbal sparring, experience and rank winning the day! Outplayed, outwitted! Love it! And Sammy going on, giving a blow by blow account, too cute! A different type of clever thinking going on inside his head. Love the way you showcased these different intellects - one wiley, the other analytical, a perfect complimentary combination that would work to their advantage later. ...And of course Dean beat him up!! Worth the punishment in Dean's view! Bet John won't ever catch him out like this again!! Dean's internal dialogue so well written - very cool! It just made this story, fantastic work! I'm loving the whole style in which you're writing this!
