Thank you for such a moving and touching story. Loved all of the wonderful brotherly moments between the boys and also the Angels. Was never a fan of Dean and Jo together but it worked here. He needed someone and it was nice to have someone with Sam to worry and hunt for Dean. I loved the story and thank you so much for writing it.

Great story. Love the hurtDean - hope you write more hurtDean stories. You even got me to like Jo. And I've never been a Jo basher, I actually liked her on the show, I just never saw Jo and Dean together at all. But I do in this story. It's really sweet. I'd love to read more. Great job!

Oh Bev, I don’t even know where to begin. It was absolutely fabulous. My words will never be able to give this story the justice it has do. I felt every emotion with our boys, Jo and the angels. From the angel’s promise to return, to Dean’s heartbreaking admission “‘I ..h...h...hurt ...Sammy!’ Sam watched Dean’s face and waited to see his usual retort of ‘m fine!’, but for an instant Dean couldn’t paper over the cracks torn into his heavily constructed walls; couldn’t hide his pain from Sam, and his soft whisper tore at Sam’s heart.” To Sam’s fierce determination to protect and save the one constant in his life, to give back every ounce of love and devotion. To Dean’s baby giving her comfort, she had her part to help his healing. To Dean’s trust in Sam to put him back together again. “Sam began to apologise then he looked into his brother’s eyes. He saw there the years of sacrifice, courage and responsibility Dean had always shouldered and saw too the look of undisguised vulnerability in those familiar emerald eyes. Sam gently returned his hand to Dean’s feeling his brother’s calloused fingers grip harshly onto his. He clung to it like his life depended on that contact as maybe it did.” Bravo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very nice final chapter to this story. Love all the comfort to go along with all the hurt. And yes, of course, I liked the little part about Dean being happy that his feet were finally warm but frowning at Sam when Sam didn't understand at first and checked by touching Dean's toes. hehe Cute!

First of all, I have got my little nurses outfit on standby. Lol  I can't believe it's over Aba...  *sitting ovation* That was so beautiful and definately worth the wait and struggle because it just had me on a high. I love those Angels and I hope you DO bring them back! Especially Uri. It amazes me how a torn and battered Dean argued with Sam and walked out of 'The Tartarus.' the Dean we know and love so much!!! I was near tears when Dean insisted that he sit upfront with his baby so he could hear her engine. You are excellent at pain Aba because I was wincing and trembling every time Dean cried out in pain, especially when Sam had to ram his dislocated shoulder back into the socket. I love when Sam hadn't quite got the bone back in and Dean asked if it was in "Finish Sam!" when he realized it wasn't. Ahhhhhhh! Dean is sooo strong I just wanna hold him like Jo got to. (I'm envious) not the right time either as she had to hold him and watch him in all that pain. The real tear jerker- the part that made my tears roll - Sam moved his hand away from Dean's ---

He clung to it like his life depended on that contact as maybe it did.‘Sleep Dean, I’m right here. I won’t let anything hurt you!’ ---- That was a great moment, I was fighting the hard fight of trying to hold it together but that part lost me the battle. I couldn't have wished for a better ending than the one you've given us, I love this story to bits and I know I've babbled on but I can't stress how good it was. The word good seems to small to use on this chapter all I can say is this story made me cry, laugh, smile and cry again but the last cry was tears of joy!!! This was a AWESOME end to an AWESOME fic. Thanks so much for sharing!

well its pritty good but when you said "sams honey brown eyes" and "deans pail green" that was odd because both of there eyes are hazle.Ill give you a nine for now but you need to get the facts right befor i give you a ten.

Author's Response: Heehee - well suck it up Hunny 'cause Daemons love to annoy!! There is thought behind the choice of spelling. Daemon is the ancient Greek word for spirit. Also spelt daimon, and I wanted to show that the characters - Mikey and the angels, were ancient beings.
The ancient Greeks often called their gods, daemones. Here it just means "spirits" or "divine spirits."
A cacodaemon, on the other hand, was an evil spirit which might bring plague, disease, or possess a person or cause some other sort of harm.
The early Christians, who also wrote in Greek, used the same word in the Bible. There it means both pagan-god and "demon" -- that is an evil spirit (not necessarily ancient).
The opposite term is Angel is also Greek, Angelos meaning "messenger," or more properly angelos Dios "messenger of God." I wanted to show that Mikey was the opposite of but connected to, the angels and not just any old evil spirit hence Greek derivation for both descriptors so dAEmon and not dEmon! My lovely Aba You have truly outdone yourself with this chapter, I would never think you'd struggled as it flowed so effortlessly. I don't know how to put in to words how this chappy made me feel, I can't stop smiling. This was written beautifully. My fav part - Soft light flooded the chamber, and Sam had no way to stop his tears as a single word resonated softly in his heart, and soft jade eyes sought hazel brown. ‘Sam’ *Applause* for this awesome, and breath taking piece of work. Love Bebg. Oh and by the way, I'm defo helping with those bandages...lol
